Make sure if you use this service to do the following: If there is "Victim funding" in place. Whoever is alleged as the offender is treated as such. And you'll be reported to human services from stories a 5 year old says. That has no corroboration from their siblings if there are more than 1 child in the house hold. I am fighting a restriction of parenting time case and a child abuse case that is unfound by human services. I have revoked my permission to have my children attend if victim services are in place so I get better treatment as my children's father. So I am not considered an offender by this establishment any longer. I hope to get better treatment from their staff and for my sons. Attached is a letter that one of the counselors who is not there any longer wrote. My child at the time was 5 and he and his brother both went to the same facility and the reported claims of abuse and neglect only happened with one therapist not both therapist. This is one sided and unacceptable. FATHERS BEWARE!!

I highly recommend Creative Counseling, and specifically Ruth Andrews! The office is always warm, inviting and filled with sweet kids and families which definitely help put my son (and myself) at ease. Right away Ruth observed my sons personality and was able to quickly connect with him through games and activities in a way that spark his interest, creativity and trust. Ultimately that led to a significant decrease in certain behaviors and trends we were dealing with, allowing our family to reconnect/enjoy more and struggle less. It’s incredible what once a week check-ins (with the RIGHT person) can do. And for that we are so grateful to have someone we can trust and lean on and who truly cares about my child and my family.

My husband and I had a great experience with Creative Counseling. Our therapist is a very good listener, is very open minded, and I appreciate her sense of humor. Mary was a good fit for us, and we feel that we got exactly what we needed.

I am very disappointed in Kiley Tollberg. After multiple attempts to contact this therapist by email, voice mail and text messages, I received zero replies. If you’re not taking on new clients, the very least she could have done is reply back saying so. I would NOT recommend this therapist. Very irresponsible and disrespectful to the industry.

Truly appreciate this counseling center! I have been blessed to have two different interactions with their therapist and both were incredible. This center truly cares about its clients and always makes you feel comfortable and never judged. If there were more then five stars I would give this place a higher rating!

I really like the services provided at Creative Counseling. The therapists are friendly and have great tools to share with children to help them succeed with their therapy goals. The front office staff is helpful and accommodating, and the whole atmosphere is welcoming.

I m not sure what went wrong at this place for my children and I. Following a D&N case in 2015 in which my former spouse and I were in and I was proven innocent, Creative Counseling Center and their great therapists helped my children cope with and recover from seperation anxiety and attachment disruption trauma. My former spouse and I have agreed to use them in our divorce stipulated parenting agreement. However my X accused me directly to CPS of cancelling out sessions there and not paying for them when in fact I set them up and always paid for them. It was my x who stopped taking them there. Somehow this place could not get this straight with CPS and they considered me guilty of neglect of my children. I thought this was a safe place for my children and I.

If you have family dysfunction or a High conflict divorce situation and your childen need a safe place to share about their worries, then creative Counseling is a great resource. Due to our high conflict situation we ultimately had Financial Agreement problems. There was some communication and cooperation problems and several times Creative Counseling and Teri Karjala were willing to work with us on resolving these matters but my Coparent was not. Sabrina was respectful and patient in trying to accommodate our family's needs. Unfortunately, for our Family we were only able to stay at Creative Counseling for ~6 months. We are currently looking for therapists who understand high conflict family situations and who can work with our children and is available to testify if necessary. I avoid discussing my coparent and coparenting matters with my children but even Avoiding a topic can cause children stress around that topic. Our counselors were Mary Whittaker and Trista Charnas and they both did a wonderful job connecting with our children and providing them a safe place to share.
