Dave is LEGIT! The conceal carry permit class was very informative. Dave reviews the applicable laws from the perspectives of both Colorado and the Federal side regarding conceal carry, as well as the rights of the individual. He encourages questions and takes all of the necessary time to answer thoroughly. He even told me to email him with any further questions should they arise.
Dave's background is quite impressive and he is an excellent instructor. I highly recommend!!! If I ever need classes of this nature, he is my go to without a doubt!

I usually do not fill out reviews, but I want everyone to know this is an excellent class. My wife and I took this class with Dave, and we were very impressed with his knowledge of guns and the law. Dave did an amazing job. Dave made both of us feel special and thoroughly explained the material to us until we understood the material and answered all our questions. Look no further if you are wanting to take a course to get your concealed carry permit! This review is long overdue, but I need to give Dave some amazing credit! We took his class as a family back in July 2023 and it can be a little nerve wracking taking a class like this just due to the nature of it. Dave is so smart, so knowledgable, and so informative. He truly wants you to learn all of the SAFETY, the laws, and other guidelines it takes to have a concealed carry weapon. The private classroom setting is also great because you can ask all the questions you need to ask and not feel like time is a burden. Big thank you to Dave and his wife for the hospitality and the extensive training course.

Dave is the best. I do not any other way of saying it, but he made the materials exciting to learn and the time flew by. The cost of his classes was by the far the best value for what you get from Dave. A man with real world experience and a great passion for firearms safety. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for training. And a huge bonus he was a great instructor at the range.

My husband and I took the concealed carry permit training with Dave a few months ago. He was very likable, knowledgeable and made the class fun and easy to understand your rights/the laws. I highly recommend getting your training through him, it was well worth it! We are definitely sending our family members his way to get trained!

I had a great time attending Dave Heath's class. He is very knowledgeable on Colorado's gun laws and how they are different from other states. Because it was a 1-on-1 class and because Dave was very patient and receptive, I was able to ask him questions without feeling embarrassed. He carefully listened to my questions and clearly and methodically answered them. I highly recommend that you take this class even if you already have a Colorado license because it will help you in understanding your rights and responsibilities when carrying a firearm in Colorado.

Dave is the consummate professional instructor. He knows his subject inside and out. To be honest, I wasn’t looking forward to a 3 hour lecture on the law related to concealed carry. Boy was I surprised! Dave took what should have been a dry lecture and turned it into a very informative, yet entertaining time, replete with examples and stories that made the topic real. I cannot recommend him more highly.
