If you're a beginner or experienced rider (or simply a horse lover), I highly recommend checking out Chasing Laurels! Chase just moved her amazing team of horses to a new barn near Yellow Banks Park and it's incredible. Tons of outdoor area to ride, beautiful setting, and friendly, positive, clean barn vibe. Just signed my son up for a package of riding lessons and he's super excited. Definitely a family friendly barn with kids camps, Girl Scout badging events, and weekend campouts (with the horses!). Check her out!

We LOVE Chasing Laurels! My daughter has been riding here for almost a year. She has bonded with Misty. They are very close. She is the sweetest horse.
Chase is a very good instructor. She takes her time with my daughter's learning style. Chase is very patient and soft spoken. She's always laughing and playing with the children.
My daughter has made a lot of friends at Chasing laurels during the barn days and overnight camps. I'm so happy we've chosen Chasing Laurels as the place for our riding lessons. I truly recommend it. You won't regret it.

A HUGE shout out to Chase and her volunteers at Chasing Laurels for an incrediably memorable experience! I work as a parent volunteer with the JHS Men's Swim Team, this years senior swimmers chose a theme of "Back in the Saddle Again" and with that theme came up with the idea of using horses for the poster. After reaching out to several stables, Chase got back to me quickly and worked tiressly with me to find a way to make this opportunity to happen for the Seniors! Chase was incrediably responsive and willing to work with me to find a time that all of the boys would be available, no easy feat! Chase and her volunteers spent a great deal of time preparing the horses to work with us before we arrived, grooming, saddling, exercising, etc. Chase and her team worked with the boys whose experience with horses ranged from zero to a vacation trail ride to a couple of years of lessons. They were patient and made sure each swimmer was comfortable and enjoyed their experience. We spent three hours posing, riding and laughing! What an amazing experience they provided the Senior Swimmers! We so appreciate your enthusiasm and love for horses and taking your time to share it with us. Thank you!!!

Chase is such an amazing, gentle soul. I had a lesson with her after many years of not riding. Chase (and the horse) picked up on my anxiety, and rather than yell at me to relax as so many instructors have, she had me stop and do exercises in the saddle to build both my core and my confidence. I have never had an instructor do that for me and it meant so much. I live out of state in Texas but will definitely come by for a lesson every time I’m in town.

I had the opportunity to bring my Girl Scout troop to Chasing Laurels. We all learned so much about the horses, what they eat, different ways of training, hands on grooming mini lesson. We got a tour of the new facility, petted horses and of course a mini riding lesson. The only thing I was a little sad about what the amount of time the girls got to ride, since our troop has done a lesson in the past they wanted a little bit more ride time. However, Chase has invited each girl back for Riding lesson making it well worth the money! I hope you will check it out too!

We had an amazing time my granddaughter turn 11 years old we we celebrated her birthday there the peoples are so amazing and polite and friendly I do love it an great experience for kids it’s something you should do don’t miss out they also did crafts played games

Chasing laurels was amazing! They were super sweet and patient with my daughter on her birthday ride! Sarah, the riding instructor, was so kind! I really enjoyed watching my daughter live her dream to learn about, and how to ride horses. I would 10 out of 10 recommend chasing laurels to EVERYONE 😊

We had our child's birthday party here! Chase is fantastic. She has wonderful and polite helpers. Helped make the party flow. She made all the kids feel welcomed, and invited. She picked the best horses. All well behaved, and can tell these horses are so loved ❤️ I highly recommend her for your next party or riding lessons. Not to mention, VERY affordable. Thank you so much!
