I have never had any experience with expressing my feelings to a therapist or counselor. I have seen Kelly Johnson 3 times in the past couple months. She makes you feel totally comfortable and at ease. She is VERY professional and knows her job very well. I would highly recommend seeing Kelly for anything you may have going on! Kelly is very genuine and sincere in her approach to helping you heal.

If you are looking for couple's therapy, keep looking. Kelly is not the person for you. She was very unprofessional, she took sides and often seemed like she was purposely pitting my husband and I against each other. My marriage got worse in the weeks following our sessions with her. Luckily we found a more qualified person to deal with our problems.
It's been three years now and we are still working to repair the damage done by her sessions. I never thought my therapist would help me destroy my marriage. Kelly may be good in other areas of therapy but I strongly recommend that couple's stay away.

Kelly has been an answer to a 25+ yr struggle with depression for my husband. This has impacted both of our lives and our marriage. She has a very unique and different approach. My husband always "starts" with a therapist and then says "that's it, nothing new" and he quits. Kelly's different approach leaves him guessing and that's exactly what he needs. She has made me feel like she is a friend - not a counselor. After all these years we both see hope on the horizon. I highly recommend her to anyone. She isn't about "medicating" the problem - but finding the source and fixing it - by working it out together. She's not "clinical" or "stuffy Doctor" and that's what makes her great!

Kelly has been a God-send to our family.
We met Kelly through a friend who she helped about 10 years ago who recommended her for us.

She's extremely knowledgeable and very empathetic. She's served as an excellent mediator, and is very tactful, but is not afraid to give the advice you need.

Seeing Kelly was just what I needed. I stumbled onto the Center for Healing and Change through a google search. I was apprehensive about counseling, but knew I needed some healing and change after a breakup and being kicked out of my home. Kelly has helped me process what happened in a healthy and wise way through some very challenging, but rewarding homework assignments. She let me know that grieving was more than ok and helped me correct my anger problems through better communication techniques and the understanding that the anger was just a secondary emotion - sadness was primary. Kelly provides a safe environment and a non-judgmental perspective. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I came to kelly with a wide range of issues. Her wonderful experience and understanding went a long way in helping me confront what I was feeling and uncovering where my feelings were coming from in the first place. The only thing that prevented me from continuing was an issue of cost, as I was paying out of pocket. However, I would not let the above discourage anyone from seeking her counsel, she is very affordable and welcoming. She is someone you can trust and build a great rapport with. Also she doesnt judge you, she knows her stuff and her style of counseling is sure to work for a variety of clientelle. I would recommend her to anyone!

I have never met a counselor who knew right away the root of our issues and has helped us so greatly in just a few weeks! Not only that but she is the one person who saw through my daughters disabilities and is helping her as well. She is fantastic and I would recommend her for anyone and also for children. We love her!
