Genuinely, from my first introduction to the compassionate, articulate and thoughtful way that she undertook our shared first-year class in "Cultures Ideas and Values" at Stanford University, to the way she integrates all components of a holistic view in her approaches to wellness as a Marriage and Family Therapist, she is truly a gift to the field and I could not be more pleased to call myself a colleague as well as a friend of Carey's.
