Good experiences so far, dedicated people, not just there for a pay cheque, they're very knowledgable in their craft and seem to enjoy it. Definition of Professional !

Most willing school to work with Veterans and using their Benefits unlike other schools.

Great school, staff is extremely helpful and want you to succeed. The flight instructors care and are there for you however the student must do his/her part to progress. That being said there are tutors there to help you in your studying and answer all the questions you may have.

Kevin Lake is phenomenal, he worked with me and cared about my situation all the way through. I've never had a smoother experience and he is on top of everything. The finance department is outstanding and will break everything down for you giving precise estimates of what you'll be paying for the program you're going for. They are great to work with and always quick to answer any questions or concerns. I completed 1 term and about 7 weeks of the second term before I got an eye infection/on going medical symptoms which forced me to withdraw. If you're Veteran or looking to finance your way through, this is in my opinion the best school in California to work with.

I'm moving out of state and will be attending another flight school that is part 141. The knowledge and experience I've had with CAU has been amazing and set the bar high. Thank you!

UNPROFESSIONAL & SOCIALLY BIAS. THIS INSTITUTION DOES NOT WANT DIVERSITY, ENTREPRENEURS, OR ANYONE WHO MIGHT NEED TO WORK WHILE STUDYING. YOUNG INEXPERIENCED STAFF - INCLUDING FLIGHT TRAINERS WHO BEHAVE EMOTIONALLY AND PROMOTE FAVORITISM.
The admissions office takes forever to reply if even, and will try to sell you everything and anything. Social profiling is very present. If you are not young and white, they will assume that you need loans and will not graduate. If you are more mature, the admissions office will question you on your health status and your capabilities. Plus their program for commercial pilot comes at $170k, when any professional school will handle you the same license in 8 months with $70-80k.
Multiple universities in San Diego alone offer better education at half of the cost, and it will be handled by experienced academic staff.
