We had the best time during our Fly Fishing lesson with Drew! He was so patient with our 10 year old son who has never been fly fishing before. He was very sweet and helped all 3 of us with every fish we caught. Drew even took pictures for us. He was very knowledgeable and he made our experience amazing. He brought everything we needed, we just had to dress warmly. We would definitely use Breckenridge Outfitters again and maybe one day we’ll take ski lessons with Drew!

Fantastic experience! Had an impromptu birthday getaway and while everyone else was booked Hans was able to hook me up with Chip Swanson on a fishing guide. This completely made the journey worth while and gained a huge wealth of knowledge and passion for this sport. After having alot of issues with my local outfitter at home between the gatekeeping and pretentiousness it's so great to see a group that's so inviting and informative. If no when I come back to Colorado it'll be to book another trip here.

Best outfitter ever! My wife and I had one free day and wanted to go fly fishing. The customer service from the minute we stepped into the shop until the minute we parted ways with our guide was 5 stars. Had a great day learning how to fly fish with Vance. I felt like I was out there in the middle of nowhere fishing with my best buddy. I learned a lot of new skills that I can take with me and continue to learn and enjoy this new way of fishing. I also learned a lot about a river that I never really thought about colors, textures, etc. Thank you so much. Tyler was an amazing fly fishing instructor! It was my fiancés first time fly fishing, and had a blast! Tyler did a great job explaining the technique, and giving us both lots of time to practice in the water, and we both caught some beautiful trout 😊 Thank you Tyler and Breckenridge Outfitters!

In addition to a great fly fishing experience, Breckenridge Outfitters is extremely responsive. We had to reschedule a few times and it was really seamless.

Jackson was our guide and he was incredible! He demonstrated expertise in fly fishing, the equipment, the environment, and techniques while bringing it down to a beginners level for myself and my daughter. He even brought all the equipment to include waders. We started with a clinic that taught casting techniques. Jackson is a naturally patient teacher and gave us clever ways to remember what we were being taught and being continuously present to assist as needed. We also learned a lot about the care of our catch and release process to protect the health of the fish. He shared in our excitement with every bite! Thank you!

This was our third summer to fish in the area, but the first to use Breckenridge Outfitters for guiding. Hans was awesome! My son and I caught more fish on a half day wading trip (on public water no less!) than we caught during 4 full days of fishing last year. We’ll definitely be back and will use Hans.

I had a great experience with our guide, Tony DiPaola. My wife and I went to Colorado to visit some friends for Labor Day weekend. Travis, my wife's friend's husband, decided he and I would go fly fishing. I know little about fly fishing, but I loved the idea. Travis set up a guided adventure through Breckenridge Outfitters. This ended up being a magnificent decision. Our guide, as previously mentioned, was Tony. An absolutely fantastic person. We spent eight hours on the water, and he did a great job. Tony and I clicked, almost, immediately. It helped that we both have a background in healthcare. He did a great job guiding, teaching, and keeping the day active and interesting. I have been infected with an insatiable desire to fly fish now. I blame Tony and Travis. I have a feeling my life is going to get expensive. If you want to try fly fishing and want a great guided experience, call Breckenridge Outfitters and set something up. Ask for Tony as a guide. If he's not available, they have other guides. It will be the experience/adventure of a lifetime.
