Love this trail, about 4.2 miles you start at one end and end up right back where you started so no worries of getting turned around. Very clean besides the occasional horse poop. Our go to for a Sunday morning stroll!

Starts out flat and easy but somehow goes uphill the rest of the way. Watch your step from the horse poop. Peaceful walk, minus my hard breathing.

A very serene and easy flat hike in the forest. The snow can be somewhat slippery in the shade so beware. We saw 4 horse riders along the trail and several dogs. The total trail was 4.2 miles and took us about 2 hours to do total with very long breaks. Without breaks, it could be down to an hour. It is a fast and easy gravel trail. Great views of Pikes Peak on the right side of the loop. The forest in the snow was super peaceful.

Nice trail surrounded by pine trees and wild flowers. No amenities except restroom at main parking lot. A few hills but a mostly easy walk in the forest. It’s just one trail that circles protected land.

Perfect length (4.2mi), mostly shaded, nice trail, only have to dodge horse poop.

Great hiking trail. 4 miles. Saw some horses. The dogs must be on leash but they had a great time. It's an easy trail but make sure you start early enough to make it all the way around. It's a big circle around the park which ends up back at the parking area.

First time on this trail. The majority of this 4.2 mile trail has wide lanes to walk on through the pine forest. There was 23 people on the trail, with the majority having dogs on leashs. It took us 1 hour and 25 minutes for the entire way around. Plenty of shade for walking. The interior is fenced off with signs citing burn area. There is a restroom at the trailhead and plenty of parking. No water areas like streams or ponds. Of course this trail is used by horse owners, but we did not see any bike riders on this day.
