Love this gym and the community Started out my CrossFit journey here in 2019 and haven’t left! Waited to come back after the lock down and so glad I stayed! All the coaches are great. All so helpful with training tips and questions. The owners Rick and Susie truly care about their members. I definitely recommend coming to the gym and trying out a workout.

I was newer to CrossFit when I started and instantly felt right at home. Not only were the coaches patient but so were all the members. I always feel supported and able to ask questions. Rick and Miranda are the best! If you are thinking about trying it… do it!

The trainers are welcoming and so are the people who work out here. I've been at BBCF for two months now. At first, I could barely squat correctly and do the lifts with a bar. I already feel myself getting stronger. I like we focus on form, monthly goals and attitude. The occasional BBQ and get together also helps. Saturday workouts are a team effort which is good because it breaks you out of your comfort zone. You realize you could do things you didn't know you were capable of. I did my first partner carry and the girl was about the same weight as me. It gave me the confidence to lift more and squat more. It has been nothing but fun since I joined. There are discounts offered. I got a student discount. The prices are reasonable compared to what my friends pay at other boxes.

I’ve dropped in at a few boxes in the area while in town and Fernando’s box is by far the best. The coaching is great and the people are warm and friendly.

I first dropped in 2.5 years ago, when I was just 6 months into my CF journey. My most recent drop in was just last week. As a beginner and now intermediate Crossfitter, I appreciate the group warmup and mobility and the very thorough explanation of the WOD.

If you’re looking to start Crossfit or are just looking for a new box, you can’t go wrong here.

People are very friendly , beginner friendly everyone is doing the same thing which is nice since the class size is small and coaches can ensure proper form. Dog friendly and coaches are also very nice and accommodating to existing injuries.

If you're considering joining a workout community rather than a conventional gym, you will not regret signing up at Big Bang Crossfit or much less be disappointed. All the coaches/trainers are knowledgeable and help you understand the movements being performed and teach you how to properly execute them to be safe and maximize your workout. Not to mention they are always there to offer unsolicited guidance, critique your form in a positive manner, and are very approachable. The environment at Big Bang makes you want to keep coming back to challenge yourself and get through a workout; even if it means you lose your lunch somewhere in between or end up on the floor as you writhe in bittersweet agony while you recover.

What I didn't expect and received from Day-1 at Big Bang, was the support and encouragement from not only the coaches, but the community at large. It is what keeps me coming back and feeling that no matter how badly out of shape I'm in or that I struggle with proper form and the workouts (WOD's), I will eventually improve and join the pack. There is not enough great things I can say about the community here at Big Bang as they are integral to helping me complete a personal challenge to get and stay fit after more than a decade in a health decline.

I've had several gym memberships in the past - only to get stuck with the monthly dues and quasi workout routines with little to no results. Having never heard of Big Bang or knowing what Crossfit was, I signed up for a one-month trial because my sister was also looking to sign up at a gym and we had both come across Big Bang through a google search and figured it was worth a shot. For someone over 40 y.o., weighing 316 Lbs, and the myriad of apocalyptic clinical diagnosis, there was no shortage of self-doubt, but what I came to realize is that what I have to lose is far greater than making it through a 60 min. WOD session.

After 3 months and minor changes to my diet (reduced portions, less sugar, carb's etc..), I have lost at least 40 Lbs. by doing Crossfit at Big Bang with the support of Fernando, the trainers, and community. I can't thank them enough for helping me accomplish much more than I expected or imagined was possible. Physically I feel much better, rediscovering mobility that my gut and laziness prohibited me from doing the past several years. I am by no means done or satisfied, my goal is to become healthier, improve and complete the WOD's, and I know this goal is certainly possible at Big Bang Crossfit!
