This is actually four and a half stars. The reason I came in to get some safari shirts. That are more breathable in u v protection. The sign above there shirts said they would be $26. Lest my $5 coupon. I had thinking. Oh, it's gonna be twenty-one dollars. It did ring up at thirty-one dollars and not twenty-one dollars. The associate immediately confirmed the sign, then rerang the sill for me at the lower price. I really appreciate that and enjoying my shirt. That protects me from UV raise and it is much more breathable than most shirts.

I recently visited Big 5 in Yucca Valley to look at telecopes and was helped by a nice young man named Daniel. He was more than patient with me and my twenty questions. All in all, I found what I wanted, got fantastic customer service and the sale was made. Thanks for all the help, I'll definitely be back!

Generally like the store, but unfortunately, the manager is not helpful and she does not understand state laws and policies regarding ammunition sales. Frustrating to say the least, especially when the answer is "this is the way we've always done it".. a tell tale sign of not knowing the answer. Don't bother shopping here for ammo... it's not worth the hassle when they try to enforce non existent policy.
UPDATE: had a conversation with the customer service department about this, turns out this is actually a corporate policy, which is even more absurd. For military, you must show "orders" to prove residency, which can be easily fabricated. These "orders" apparently provide more proof than 2 other verified, in the Cal DOJ forms of residency... all that to say.. this company isn't really taking customer experience seriously and seems to be creating extra policies that hurt active military personnel.

Salesman gave up after 30 seconds. Couldn't find what I was looking for. I ended up leaving empty-handed, finding the salesman hanging out front with his coworkers lolligagging. Screw this place! Hope it closes down like all the other businesses in the area.

Staff was very helpful despite me getting there just before closing. Staff was accommodating to my needs without any rush. Plus $15 off my purchase(RetailMeNot). Highly recommend whomever is in charge of customer service. Which in turn becomes CUSTOMER LOYALTY.
