Bethel Horizons is such a challenging, yet awesome environment for kids! The staff there do an incredible job of balancing the fear some have [to do the high-ropes elements] with the perfect amount of encouragement, yet letting them know whatever the next step is - it's always THEIR choice, even if they simply want to come back down. The "low-ropes" activities are all about problem-solving and teamwork, and again, the staff give the ideal amount of guidance, while letting attendees struggle and rely on problem-solving TOGETHER:) Can't recommend Phil and his team there highly enough!

Bethel Horizons is a beautiful camp, rooted in faith, with great facilities and a superb staff. Don't be afraid to try the high ropes or rock climbing or mountain biking or any of the other adventures--Adventure Program Director Phil is a total professional and great at teaching and team building, plus of course safety.

Our summer staff team had an incredible experience with Phil and his 2 staff on the rope courses and the leadership training - team games we did for the day. We worked on communication, trying each other and bonding. I encourage every company to do this training and invest in your team.

I love taking my 5th graders to Bethel Horizons for our end of the year field trip! Each activity while at Bethel, has a lesson embedded within it. Students practice thinking about things in different ways, working with others to solve problems, facing fears, accomplishing difficult tasks, overcoming obstacles, communicating with others, listening to opposing viewpoints, encouraging others, and having lots of fun! The variety of activities provides enjoyment for all students.

A great week for our grandchildren! Some call it "Cousin Camp" as they are able to spend so much time together which does not happen that often. The activities were excellent, food was good, counselors were wonderful and very responsible, IT WAS FUN!
It was a special privilege for Brad and I to have this time with most of our grandchildren (6). These bonding experiences are priceless to us. Thank you so much for making this possible. We hope next year our Florida (3) grands can join us as well.
