Decent gym I suppose. Went for the first time today. Wish it was a bit bigger but kind of hard to complain about that... not like there's many options for more space. Other than that I'd say that I really wish membership prices were cheaper. I suppose being the only halfway decent gym in the area that they're really taking advantage of being able to charge more based on the convenience factor for people in the area.

They close wayy too early for me to be able to regularly come here during my work week seeing as they're closed by the time I'm off work. Disappointing that they don't stay open until atleast 9 or 10pm. Also closing at noon on Saturdays and being closed on Sundays seems ridiculous to me. Even staying open later on Saturdays and moving their Saturday hours to Sunday would make getting a membership here much more justifiable to me.

I'd like to go more often but the membership prices for what is provided are way too high... There are far nicer gyms that offer much more for much cheaper within a 20-25ish minute drive from here. They should really atleast consider allowing Strasburg residents to pay the same amount as Bennett considering we don't have a good option for a similar facility nearby. The prices are the biggest factor in preventing me from rating this place higher. Cut the prices by 20-30% and this will be a 4-5 star gym experience for what is provided.
I'll likely be getting a membership with Vasa Fitness in Aurora before even considering getting one here. Worth the extra 20 minute drive to save money and have more amenities in my opinion.

The price has quadrupled for Adams county residents? How is it possible that when I moved in to the area in 2014 that the entire facility cost 4 dollars to access. To use the steam room and gym for a day it cost 16 dollars? This place needs new management, direction and funding. In town you can use a ref center for 7-10 bucks to include all amenities. The pool needs to be reduced in size and turned into something functional. Closed Sunday’s is not exactly helpful when most centers are open. It’s a nice facility that has potential but seems like it’s only serving a select few at the moment.

I love this place. Great facility for my morning workouts, and the staff always treats me like family. I see them interact with other guests and they know most people by their first name, which is pretty neat. Recently I've been bringing my niece and nephews to swim in the toddler pool and they can't get enough. We're excited for extended pool hours for the whole family this summer! Thanks Bennett Rec for all you do!

My family has been utilizing the Rec. For years, between basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, and swim team. I have personally witnessed amazing changes at the facility over the past seven years. I have been reading other reviews and believe some people don’t understand how funding of the rec. works. It is also near impossible to get and keep lifeguards, there is a nationwide lifeguard shortage, it’s not just a Bennett issue. There is currently open swim Monday - Friday from 12-4, the water is crystal clear as the pool is very well maintained, and current staff is extremely friendly.

Very thankful for & appreciate the Bennett Rec Center. I was here for the days when the gym was utilized for Dodgeball every Friday & Saturday night & there was no pool. Long time coming. For a small town like Bennett the rec center is a perfect fit. I see a lot of negative reviews here and it seems like people are looking for reasons to be mad. The pool is more lax through the Summer - can’t have free swim without life guards. Exciting & crazy to see all the change coming to Bennett. New homes, more people, and an amazing rec center. I hear expansions are coming soon to the property, we’ll see how they turn out. If you want a LifeTime Fitness kind of vibe, just go to the one in Parker & pay $150 a month.

Honestly we went swimming there and the blonde lady at the desk was very nice but there was another lady that was there saying it was her place and she can deny anyone access and yelling at people for stupid reasons.. when I heard her talking to a little boy (about 6 or 7) the way she was it wasn’t ok and then I heard him say I’m sorry and she looked at the poor little boy and told him “I don’t except your apology “ who talks to a child like that. Honestly what is wrong with people!! I know after hearing this from staff I will NEVER bring my children there and I will not be back.. I also plan on letting others know about this.. maybe if you get better staff and better prices I will come back.. I would rather drive 30/35 minutes to a rec center in Aurora..

I recently chatted with a lady working out at the Bennett Recreation Center. She and her husband had participated in the Tough Mudder that weekend. She was impressed with the equipment in the Bennett Rec Ctr workout room. It had better equipment than her workout center in New Jersey. Her husband found the Rec Ctr online and stopped for a final workout at before their flight back to New Jersey.
