Becks’ Martial Arts is a great school. We have been with Becks’ for about 4 years now. Our daughter started as a student in their tigers class for kids younger than 7 and just earned her red belt as an advanced junior student. Becks’ not only teaches the art of Taekwondo but they incorporate self-discipline, perseverance and confidence along with many other life long valuable self-traits and lessons into their classes. They have very reasonable hours for their regular classes which is great for both Poudre and Thompson Valley School Districts. They offer additional classes for combat sparring, weapons and fun family classes during the week. For the older kiddos they also have a demo team and leadership classes. We hands down recommend Becks’ Martial Arts for any age!

A few years ago I moved to Fort Collins for grad school and I was looking for a place to continue my martial arts journey. I had recently completed my 1st degree black belt at my old school and was looking for the right school. I tried some other schools, but I liked the Beck's the most because of their fun environment, upbeat and active classes that make you feel like you both learn new martial arts skills and get a work out. They have so many opportunities for both children and adults to grow as martial artists, from testings, to competitions, and an amazing leadership program.

We cannot say enough good things about Beck’s Martial Arts. Mr. Beck is an amazing teacher. He holds the kids to high standards, but still finds small moments to joke around with them. He is so calm and kind while teaching both taekwondo and life lessons. Also very reasonably priced.

I've been taking taekwondo classes from the Becks for about two years now and I'm so glad I decided to learn from them! Classes are incredibly engaging and change up every time, keeping things interesting while also informative. The adult classes are a great environment to learn in and the Becks do an amazing job at making you feel welcome. They're amazingly accommodating and accepting of all students and perspective students, something I've experienced firsthand. The Becks are definitely my top choice for martial arts and I highly, highly recommend them!

We moved to town mid-pandemic and set out looking for a taekwondo program to get our son involved with. We feel so lucky to have found Becks. We’ve seen him struggle with confidence and anxiety, more so since Covid, and Becks Martial Arts truly helps him develop his mental strength just as much as physical skills. They’ve been very thoughtful to create a safe environment for young students who aren’t yet eligible for the vaccine and as a healthcare provider and parent this is the type of attention to detail that makes a huge difference for our family. We’re glad to be part of the family here and look forward to get our younger son involved soon too.

I highly recommend Becks! Mr and Mrs Beck are truly amazing at working with every kid and have created a wonderful place to train in taekwondo. Our kids had no martial arts experience before starting with the Becks. Because of their dedicated coaching, our kids have grown incredibly in their confidence, character, and athleticism over the past 2 years they’ve trained with the Becks. Plus, Mr and Mrs Beck are just great people. They’ve cultivated a community between the students and families that attend Becks. We love going here!

After trying many sports and activities in Fort Collins and having trouble finding an athletic experience that resonated with our son and family, we have been nothing but impressed with our experience with Beck’s Martial Arts. The teachers have a strong focus on holistic mentorship and hold high standards for their students, while providing a safe and fun environment at the same time. We have seen a higher level of commitment, focus, seriousness, and maturity in our son since he has been participating, and can see his pride and confidence grow as he reaches each milestone. These milestones are well earned, and we appreciate that students have to put in the work and truly demonstrate attention, effort, energy, and heart to earn praise and advancement. The teachers set a focused and earnest tone in class, but also weave in fun and silly activities and encourage students to support and celebrate each other. The Becks also develop a community feel with layers of offerings beyond the class schedule, through tournaments, demonstrations, events, parent-night-outs, camps, etc. Children need mentors beyond their parents to flourish and we have great gratitude that Beck’s has partnered with our family to reinforce common values and set a very high bar that our son has to stretch to achieve. We would highly recommend Beck’s to any family seeking martial arts training for their child.
