Ross Van Allen is the Dr you want to see. Easy to talk to, responds quickly and flexible with scheduling. He’s down to earth, empathetic and solution motivated in whatever form that may be. For the first time after years of therapies, I feel like it’s a team effort. We work together to navigate my mental health. Sharing my past & current struggles is difficult and he seems to get that. His insight is always helpful and applicable, that shows me he’s connected & present. I highly recommend and trust Ross Van Allen.

Ross was great. It is always nerve racking to get a new doctor, and when my old one left Axis was good about getting me transferred to Ross right away. He himself was very polite, approachable, and knowledgeable. He definitely created a space where I felt okay to discuss my mental health, and he displayed good knowledge of newer research in the field in particular for women’s health in the field. I would recommend him to anyone.

She doesn’t just throw meds at you and send you on your way, she takes the time to see what’s going to work and strives to find the best solution that the patient is comfortable with. This is a really great provider. Their office is super comfortable and the doctors are really good. I work with Dr Ross Van Allen, he’s very supportive with and knowledgeable. The ketamine treatments have also been supportive.

Ross has been a fantastic provider since day one. I initially started going to see Ross out of pure chance: “what provider is available that is reasonably close to me?”

From the start, Ross has shown that his approach is a holistic one for his patients, considering not just the diagnosis but the person. I have seen continuous improvement under his care and guidance and he has worked with me on pursuing alternative treatments with a goal of not needing psychiatric care as frequently.

Moreover, it is evident that the other providers and staff at Axis Integrated Mental Health genuinely care about the patients coming in. I have never had an issue getting a hold of someone or felt like my questions could not be readily answered.

While I certainly recommend Ross specifically, you will not be steered wrong at this facility as a whole.
