had an exceptional experience at AVA. We did the Via Ferrata course in the morning with Spencer and Emma. They were encouraging and fun! They obviously enjoy their job. The course was so amazing and my 12 year old son and I had a blast! We did white water rafting with Jill in the afternoon and, again, our expectations were exceeded! It was a beautiful course that was a great blend of peacefulness and adventure. We felt safe the entire trip and well cared for. All of the staff at the outpost were equally friendly and informative. We would highly highly recommend this company for any of their trips and we hope to come back with the rest of our family some day!

We are a family of four with previous via ferrata experience. The trip was great. Challenging but also safe. Our guides, Spencer and Emma were wonderful. Encouraging but also not forceful always leaving the option to skip a challenge (none of us did!). I highly recommend this trip for those who want to SAFELY challenge themselves. Great job!

We had a really good time and the our rafting guide (can't remember his name but I do remember he’s from Wisconsin) was really cool. He told us lots of neat history of the river. I want to give it a 5 star but the only thing was that we didn’t get to jump off the big rock like expected, which wasn’t the guides fault it was a different reason, so we were bummed about that.

Such a great day! We took our 12 yr old and our 5 yr old on this trip, and couldn't have asked for a better afternoon!
We chose the 1pm trip and glad we did, with the water being chilly it was perfect with the afternoon sun. Our guide Kayla was awesome, and even let our 12 yr old sit back with her and learn how to guide the boat.
Definitely book this one, you won't be disappointed!

I celebrated my 55th birthday on my first Via Ferrata with my husband of 30 years and with our guides Trey & Ernie. It was spectacular! I had the best time & Trey & Ernie made us feel completely safe with all of the information & safety instructions they provided. They cheered us on & provided alternate routes for my husband who has a phobia of heights. They helped him overcome his fears and he wants to come back and do it again! So do I! The whole thing is a blast but the rock climbing was the biggest thrill for me! Thank you Trey & Ernie for celebrating with me and making it a super fun adventure!

We had an incredible time on our rafting trip with AVA! Our guide Wes was the absolute best. He was supportive, encouraging and made sure we had some real excitement on our ride. I highly recommend him to everyone! Ethan was also the best, riding nearby in the kayak in case we needed a rescue. We will definitely be back!

An amazing experience! My wife and I did the 1/2 day brown canyon rafting trip, and we absolutely loved it. Our guide Sean (not sure if spelled right) was spectacular, made the trip a ton of fun. Highly recommended!

We had so much fun! Our guide, Carena, was great with our kids, giving clear instructions and helping us enjoy the ride to the fullest. This stretch of water had lots of 2-3 class rapids, which was perfect for our family. As always, AVA staff was helpful and ensured that we had a fun, safe trip.
