Super fun place to stop! We bought stuff in the gift center and walked thru the museum that's attached which was super interesting and had lots of stuff on display. Then my son got to experience the older train caboose which he was thrilled with!

I didnt even know this place existed and it turned out to be my favorite part of our trip to Atchison. Really cool artifacts and history in this space. Everyone from the front desk hosts to the gentleman who answered my questions were great. Thanks for the hospitality!

This was the highlight of our trip to Atchison, especially riding the train. I only wish our children had been with us. The two men running the train were a wealth of knowledge.

The little train ride is great. They are working on restoring old train cars and the museum is alright. They are very helpful in answering your questions and giving directions.
