Body Alive is by far the best body movement/workout/exercise class not only in Aspen, but in the country. I look forward to Body Alive every week. It changes my mood, makes me feel strong and alive! It is so much fun and is an amazing workout. I leave sweating more than I would skinning up a mountain. I highly recommend this class for all ages.

Even though I live downvalley, it's worth making the drive up to Aspen to take part in Aspen Shakti's amazing Body Alive yoga-dance fusion classes! They are so fun, energizing and empowering. Jayne and her team has created such a great community here and I just love the energy 🙂

The owner and staff at Shakti truly and obviously care about our community in Aspen. The way all of their classes and events are executed showcase their desire to enrich the community, and after attending almost 30 classes, I feel they are very successful. I have always been intimidated by yoga as I am such a basic beginner, but every class and every instructor has been incredibly helpful to me, physically and mentally. Even the studio space has such and incredibly positive energy. I highly recommend shakti for anyone from beginner to advanced yogi.

Aspen Shakti is truly one of the most special places in Aspen. I have been going to classes at this studio for the past 5 years and it never ceases to deliver a truly amazing experience. Shakti is by far the best studio in town and you can feel that immediately when you walk in the doors. Any visitors, friends, family.....I always tell them to take a class at Shakti while they are in town. The space is not only gorgeous but has amazing energy owing to the thought, love and consciousness that each and every teacher and student invigorates in the space. Whether you are looking for a good post-ski stretch or a high-energy flow class, Shakti has it all and. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend.

Every little detail has been beautifully thought out from the range of classes and quality of instructors to the gorgeous space and retail products. Jayne and the Shakti staff create a nurturing, empowering environment that serves to encourage everyone who walks though the door. I feel stronger, more centered and ready for ski season than before I started practicing at Shakti a month ago. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to keep coming back!

I absolutely LOVE Shakti! I discovered it from doing the M-F mountain top yoga in the summers and out of curiosity poked my head into their amazing little cave of a yoga studio. It’s so incredibly cozy and the merchandise is so good! All of the yoga instructors are so great and it’s a great place to feel like you’re part of the yoga community. They have really helped me find my inner yogi! Thank you Shakti!!
