I honestly wish I could give this business a negative score. I had an initial consult for my son, and set up ONE tentative appointment after the consult. After that consult I was sent paperwork and I had not finished filling it all out so my son was technically not an established patient with them yet. It turns out that my son had a conflict with school so I requested that the appointment be canceled. I’m not sure where it went from here but when I went back into the app to reschedule and try again I had 2 invoices for $126 each. I reached out to the office to see what the charges were for and why whatever it was wasn’t submitted through my insurance and have been trying to rectify this situation since the beginning of October. I emailed, called, and sent messages through the app and every time they said they’d work on it and get back to me. They never did. In December I was told the fees were cancelation fees because I didn’t cancel my appointments within 24 hours….plural? I only made 1 appointment and yes I absolutely did cancel it within 24 hours before the appointment. After a lot of fighting and zero help, they “graciously” reversed one of the fees but I had to pay the other one to make them go away. So I paid for a service I never received AND I paid an penalty for something I did correctly. It’s robbery.
It’s been a REALLY great experience for my mental health dealing with these people (sarcasm). I’d recommend you think twice before booking with these guys because the only mental health support they’re providing is making sure that kids who are already on the fence about experiencing therapy don’t go forward with giving it a shot. So thanks a lot for that I guess. Jerks.

My counselor at Alpine has made such a huge impact in my healing journey! This isn't my 1st rodeo, I've had other counselors throughout my life on & off all at different practices & different times in my life . I'm forever grateful as this is the first time I feel like I'm getting somewhere with my past traumas. I appreciate the care, understanding and tools my counselor has given me. I trust my counselor which has allowed me to open up and be vulnerable so that I can work thru my current & past difficulties. It has made such a difference in my life and my healing journey! My therapist of a year plus with Apline Lakes was consistently late to every single session we ever had and interacted with me very little. She often yawned throughout our sessions and there was no constructive growth tools of any kind. Each session ended with the same advice to take a bath or a walk and be kind to myself. She felt comfortable advising me on what medications I should ask my psychiatrist for but never told me about an alternative therapy (ketamine therapy) that ended up saving my life. I later found that she had personal experience with this. I emailed the owner of the company, because I was so frustrated with the wasted years of my life being ill and not knowing my options, and she didn’t even bother to reply to me. Their interest is not in you getting better, it’s in keeping you in therapy. Beware.
