There is currently a really solid group of people at this clinic....from the counselors, to the nurses, and the management. Everyone is always friendly and that can be difficult at times when your work day starts at 5am. 2 people specifically really stand out and make this experience easier. Katrina (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) who works in the front, and Dan who works security. Katrina is hilarious and treats everyone with respect and doesn't make you feel bad about yourself. Sometimes is hard accepting the fact you have to be at a methadone clinic. But when the staff treats you so well and make you smile, it really helps. Dan is an amazing person as well. He has to deal with so many ridiculous people who act like children and yet he always has a positive attitude. I look forward to seeing him daily. I'm not sure how many of the staff at the clinic read these reviews...if any, but I would like to say thank you to all of them for making this journey a lot easier and on a daily basis I have positive, sometimes hilarious interactions and starting your day in a positive way really helps you throughout your day. I hope to join this staff as a counselor once I complete my recovery. I know I only mentioned 2 names, but thank you again to all of you. I'll throw one more name out there and a big thank you to Carl who is part of the management team. He's an extremely nice person and I feel, genuinely cares about the patients at this clinic. Thanks again guys

At a facility like this you need people who genuinely care. You need employees who want to work and want to help. Sadly at this location it is clear people don't care and people definitely don't want to work there. It makes it a lot harder for those in recovery who already have a hard time. There are definitely a few amazing people....Katrina at the front is a pleasure to see and talk to every day. Dosing nurse Debra is amazing and truly cares about her patients. Security Dan is amazing and awesome to see every day. Counselors Edgar and Carl deserve raises because of all the crazy and ridiculous stuff they deal with daily. Still, the overall experience despite the good people I mentioned is bad and changes need to be made. So those I mentioned, thank you for your hard work and dedication in a very frustrating field.

In my opinion, Ages treatment center is an amazing facility; Coming from two different clinics in Sacramento, since starting recovery in 2016. Ages is ran like a doctor's office not just a typical out patient treatment center. Ages has available Doctor's or Physician Assistant, and counselors who are truly knowledgeable in medicated outpatient treatment. Feels like The staff at Ages are trying to help Change people life's, not just working for a pay check. Thank you Ages

I have been involved with Aegis for just a short time. I didn't know what to expect at first all I knew is that I needed help and they seemed to be the best choice in the area. Since I have been coming I have received so much help. I get support, more knowledge, compassion with most every interaction and most importantly I have been given hope. I now have hope that there can be a day when I am whole again. I recommend Aegis, and as the saying goes, "It may be hard, but its worth it!"

AEGIS Treatment Center in Marysville is an amazing clinic. I have been on methadone for a little over 3 years and I'm a firm believer in this program. I transferred from a clinic in Sac, which I loved, to here and I'm very happy with the outcome. Everyone is super sweet and they help you with anything they possibly can. The ppl on here giving bad reviews are only doing so because they aren't doing what they are supposed to so they aren't getting what they want. You don't reward bad behavior!! This is what addicts need...to be held accountable for their responsibilities. I have all my take homes and have been clean since I started 3 years ago. My counselor is Tina and I love her!!! At 1st I was hesitant because she's close to my age but it ended up being a perfect match. If you or anyone you know needs help with an opiate addiction, AEGIS is an amazing place to get the help you need!!!

The staff here is absolutely amazing!! They will go way beyond their expectations to help you succeed or get the help you need. I give my awe to the director and her work. She is awesome! This place does have some nice folks there but just a few. I've been there 3 yrs, and I'm basically realising that this place don't really have time too or just don't care about us patiences. Too me they treat us just as another number or file, alot of my counselor phone interviews don't help me at all and don't make a mistake and accidentally do something they counselors don't like and you will be treated like a lil child and talked too that way and get your take homes tooken away. Go here at your own caution. A few nice folks may not be enough to put up with alot of fake caring.
