We have been a part of AFL for over a dozen seasons and have had 3 kids play in the league. Currently our two daughters are playing and we can not say enough great things about how this league has been run. The recent addition of the "all girls" middle school division has been awesome and I think will really help prepare my daughter in pursuing flag football in High School as she is already aspiring to do. Thank you guys for everything you do for this community!

AFL was such a great experience for my son as well as our entire family. I coached in the league for 5 years and we enjoyed the sense of fellowship, community, and fun competitive spirit that brought so many families and players together on Friday nights in a casual and welcome environment. The league is very well organized and offers the opportunity for every player to be an active member of an exciting and supportive, youth flag football team.

AFL is a fantastic youth flag football league with a unique family friendly atmosphere. My two boys played over eight years, where I coached over 20 teams. I started as a young inexperienced coach and advanced over time with help from free preseason training offered by the league. My boys and I have very fond memories of friendships and great competition. The league is structured to keep teams fairly matched during the season and all players get equal time. Each game hour starts with honoring our American flag with the National Anthem. The game music and taco stand make for a special friendly environment where spectators can enjoy a fast paced game in just an hour. Our family will cherish the years we played at AFL!

Dear AFL staff and families
I am writing to express my gratitude for the opportunity to serve as a long, tenured coach in your league. In 2010 I began coaching a team of eight 5th graders, which continued year after year coaching my two sons and many other boys during spring and fall lasting for 12 years. I enjoyed the family atmosphere AFL offers. The league provides a great environment for all players to learn a little bit about the game of football, teamwork, and camaraderie. The way the league structures the team match ups by re-seeding every 3 weeks, helps ensures competitive games. I would encourage anyone looking for a fun, friendly, family experience to get involved and consider AFL, it is a great way to spend your Friday nights.

My son played AFL flag football for six years and I could not have imaged a better experience for good family fun and bonding time for a family on a Friday night, then at the football field. We all know we get enough time in front of TVs and electronics, to get out on the field with are kids and play and interact is priceless! At AFL they create a great entertaining atmosphere at the events with food, music and plenty of social interaction. Our family and our son have made long lasting friendships that continue today long after his playing days are over. My son will marry soon and have children and I am sure they will play AFL football in YL.

I really liked it at first, but they are disorganized. You can register well in advance send in payment and still sit on a waitlist with no chance of getting in. I had to move to a different league last minute. Thanks to no communication from YLAFL

Love Friday nights at AFL. My two boys played through 8th grade and my daughter played up to 4th Grade then switched to volleyball. We had Championship seasons and 1-8 seasons, all are cherished as family memories. Kids grow up and are gone too quick, enjoy the time each week.
