The big question is, is advanced ATC worth 50k? The answer is a mixed bag. You will get your CTO and have the potential to earn a high salary career. However, the education they provide sucks. A big portion of the instructors are recent graduates who don’t have the experience to teach you high quality knowledge. The older instructors with more experience are unmotivated and mediocre at best. The simulation equipment is old and outdated. There’s too many students and not enough time and resources for them. I learned more in a couple months at a control tower than I did in a full year at advanced ATC. They don’t teach you the skills it takes to be a skilled air traffic controller in my opinion. The only thing that makes it worth it is they give you a CTO which gets you in the door for job interviews.

All the tools for success will be provided and staff and instructors will do their best to lead you toward the path to a prosperous career in Air Traffic Control. Many different teaching styles are implemented and students and instructors are encouraged to learn from each other and work collectively to the benefit of all. However I believe there's always room for improvement and to stop trying to improve would ultimately lead to failure. So come and help achieve our greatest performance together. I attended this school after washing out of the FAA academy. This school gives you a whole year (as opposed to the 3 months the academy gives you) to learn everything you need to earn your Control Tower Operator's license. With this license you can work at any air traffic control tower that will hire you. I was lucky enough to be employed by the school after receiving my CTO. This experience led me to my next job and stated my career in air traffic control. This program is structured, but requires initiative and hard work. Those qualities are required in the career field as well. I highly rethinks school for anyone looking to become an air traffic control specialist.

50k sallie mae only debt (so way more by the time it's paid off), Equipment from 20+ years ago and poor training from people who haven't been controlling for years and students taught by aforementioned.

Worst Training ever they are very racist and discriminative cost of the school is way too high the only thing they want to do is steal your money once they have your money they don't care if you pass the training or not if you're not white or black I highly suggest you not come to the school they're very very rude this is a private company and will do anything they want with you they dont go by the book of FAA of how to do air traffic control correctly
