Something needs to be done about the way they allow people who work here to treat people! Based off of the reviews I realize I wasnā€™t the only one and that makes it worse. I knew I was dealing with someone that didnā€™t care at all. I was trying to take care of things after the passing of my father and this lady that answered the phone had the nerve to tell me that she didnā€™t put the paperwork through in order for my dads doctors to sign off because she ā€œjust didnā€™t get around to it yet.ā€ I understand that you have a job and serve others but she nonchalantly stated that she was ā€œabout to do it until I called.ā€ Maybe it was the way she stated it that caught me off guard. So then I ask her what the process is because I urgently needed this signed in order to move my father to his home state (an entire process) She rudely interrupts me and with the most insensitive tone says, ā€œ can I talk now?ā€ When she told me what the process was she contradicted herself and after that I didnā€™t believe a word she said. I asked to speak to her supervisor. Her supervisor stated that she would review the recorded conversation and never got back to me. I donā€™t know what kind of operation is being ran but it is not a dignified or professional one to say the least. Shut it down! Whoever and however because people are not doing their jobs properly or thoroughly! This job needs to be handled with care and with the utmost respect. People and families are dealing with losing their love ones!!!!! Please train your staff to be respectful, sensitive and professional.

ADAMS COUNTY CORONERS office doesn't even deserve one star!! My father passed away in June of 2023 in Adams county, I waited over 14 weeks for his autopsy and toxicology report when they stated it would take 10 weeks to get it back. This office is operated very poorly and if you leave a voicemail they probably won't respond. They must have a rule to where they are not aloud to show any compassion or empathy to grieving families. When I got my fathers autopsy report back I reached out with some questions regarding some medical terms and how they got that conclusion. Sherronda KAREN Appleberry a very rude and snarky lady reached out to me via email with "Answers" to my questions, during the email I felt as if she was belittling me because I do not have the knowledge that she does. I feel as if they are hiding and leaving a few things out of the Report because my father was just another "Homeless" person. WRONG! Long story short I would not trust this place with your love ones.

RIP DADDY "COWBOY"

* THIS IS MY 1ST AMND RIGHT .. YOU HAVE BEEN PUT ON NOTICED NOT TO VIOLATE MY RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW * Oh, let me just commend the absolute professionalism and outstanding politeness of the Adams County Coroner's Office, led by the esteemed Dr. Sena and her incredibly impressive staff, featuring the one and only Monica. My dear friend and spiritual sibling, Cowboy, who was graciously transported to the pearly gates using the city's resources, was left in a room to gracefully decompose until the stench became too unbearable for the other tenants. Of course, it is simply astonishing that no city employee bothers to check on the well-being of our homeless population. So naturally, our fearless Director, Regan Benson, from the Helping Hands for Dignity Coalition, and I had the absolute pleasure of retrieving Steve Olsten's belongings, all while being serenaded by the delightful symphony of bodily fluids that adorned the floor. From that enlightening day onward, it seems that the Adams County Coroner's Office has continuously excelled in dropping the ball. We do humbly request that they treat us, the beloved citizens who elect them and fund their existence, with a modicum of fairness and respect. I mean, isn't it just heartwarming to think that someday your loved ones could be in that same spot? Oh, the joyous anticipation! But, of course, I genuinely hope you never have to experience the indescribable heartache we have endured at the hands of Adams County and its esteemed coroner, not to mention its wonderfully incompetent sheriff. Do you hear that, dear Adams County Coroner's Office? We kindly demand equality, or rather, ask for the resignation of every single employee currently gracing us with their presence. Because who needs a job that supports their livelihood if it doesn't bring them constant joy and fulfillment? Truly, it's just too much to ask. Well, do enjoy your future career endeavors, dear employees. I'm sure with your exceptional level of competence and astounding attitudes, the world will be simply begging to have you.

The coroner needs to be voted out of office. The lady who answers the phone is total garbage. A homeless man died on their watch. When they responded to his daughter questions Applebee's lied and said they got the information from his daughter at the scene. The daughter was 4 hours away and was never at the scene, EVER !! The information Applebee's said she got was medical info on his past Dr's name. Not true at all

Given the nature of this business, dealing with individuals in mourning and emotionally sensitive due to the loss of their loved one(s), you would think this place would be more organized, empathetic and helpful; they lacked all and they fail to understand that kindness goes a long way. My brother and I flew in from across the country after finding out that our father had suddenly passed. This place was NO help whatsoever and we had to call so many times, wait on hold for so long and leave messages that seemed to have no priority to them. There was ZERO accountability or sense of urgency and even though they said they would be able to release our fatherā€™s property to us (they told us before we flew out), once we landed they said they couldnā€™t and we were misinformed and so we couldnā€™t get into our fathers apartment to start the whole process that was beyond emotional enough. Really made our loss of our father so much worse. Afterwards they didnā€™t provide ANY follow up or information on our fatherā€™s death, basically they just held our fatherā€™s body and his property from us and made everything harder for us by being extremely and unnecessarily difficult with HORRIBLE service! Deb (the lady who answers the phone) and Shironda were so rude, worst attitudes, and not sensitive to your needs at all. They need to consider hiring kinder people who have a heart. Iā€™ll never forget this experience.

My mom passed away 10.11.17, they called me 2wks later and asked if we had any funeral arrangements made for my mother. I told her that we were waiting for them to call me or my brother. She only said I'm sorry. I told her wed be there within a few days. We got there on Monday and as the lady in the office kinda throws my moms little packaged bracelets on the counter, I asked if they are my mommy's, she said yes, then went on about that if we hadn't shown up that my mom would've been turned over to the state, and she went on saying " and I dont think you would've liked that". I told her that they had barely called me that last Thursday. She said, "oh, I guess there was a miscommunication error. But you have till Friday or we're turning here over to the state". I went home and cried all night. Her name is DEB. She is very rude, she made me feel like it was my fault. Her face and attitude were like as if she sucked hard core on a lemon. They need to fire her and find someone more nice and understanding. Oh, we also asked id she had any information about my mom's death, and she said that the people who are cremating her would tell us. How unsympathetic that DEB was. If id only known.

Horrible, after trying to get a preliminary findings of my father who passed away September 21, I called today and DEBORA said they have nothing to talk to me about yet they send me paper work and then she told me i had to fill out the packet to get a report I told her I did and asked what email she sent it to and she ignored me put me on hold without letting me know and said I sent it you have received it and she said she couldn't give me info because the report wasn't done and I said thats funny because they gave us his death certificate already and she cut me off before I can finish and said i sent it and hung up. worst place ever I've dealt with Denver coroners office and they are excellent nothing compared to this ppl at all, we are already going through a rough times with our loved ones passing and yet they get an attitude with us maybe you guys should find a different work career since you have to deal with families of passed ones. Wait until it happens to you guys and you guys have to deal with ppl like in your office after your loved one passed away!!
