Called and asked what my fiancé and I needed to get a marriage license. We were told on the phone that all we needed was our IDs and to just come in. We got ready and went in, only to be turned away at the desk by them saying it was appointment only. There was hardly anybody there and nobody else in line and they still refused to help us. Very unprofessional and very disappointing. Maybe get your facts straight before telling somebody the wrong info and the drive all the way out there for nothing.

New Taj Majal of county offices! I have been here several times and the employees are quite nice from the door greeter to the marriage license person to the voter registration office. It is a comfortable place to be!

My new favorite thing is to comment on positive government services!! Came here for two minor (toddlers…) passports. Appreciated the confirmation call the day before (of course, had the wrong time down!). Walked in and was immediately called up. Two applications and photos, still processed in 15 mins. Clint was so engaging with my kiddos too, and made it such an easy process.

Great experience at the Adams County Clerk and Recorders office today. Everyone was wonderful, from the greeter at the front desk to the really nice representative that helped me in the department! I was running late for an appointment and called to let them know and they were very gracious about the whole thing. They knew exactly what I needed when I arrived and handled everything quickly. Great customer service and efficiency! 👏👏👏

Just called the Adams County Clerk with a quick question about my hybrid vehicle needing emissions testing. I called the number listed here on Goggle. I was put through a few recordings, but it was easy to follow and understand. I only waited on hold for a minute or so and actually got to speak to a live person! The customer service rep was friendly and quickly answered my question! Wow!, wow wow! Way to go Adams County for making my experience so quick and easy! I've also been to the license renewal offices recently too, and hardly had to wait...it was very quick! Thank you so much for making the effort to focus on your customer service! Please encourage your employees that their efforts are noticed and appreciated!!!

The first time I went to file papers to open an estate. I was given some new paperwork and a few highlighted instructions on the papers where to properly fill into my info. The clerk I thought was helpful, polite and also gave me her card. All I can say is I was turned away because I did not have $200 to pay the costs. To be short I do not have nor get any money. Anyway we will just say God and a devine way said ask and you may receive, so I got the $200. Next I return to file the paperwork yesterday 4-12-2022 at 3:30pm about was the time and after I pay my fee then the clerk says something to me about there is a fee waiver so I would have been able to file the first time. Why do they tell me this if it does not apply to me I still had to find a way to pay. The clerk would not give me her name or let me speak with a supervisor. The stone wall I call it. So if you go here know what you are doing and take some one with you if you can. Most likely you'll be on your own. Best to bring your own help if possible.
