Years ago a case manager from Adams County lied. I read the files. My siblings & I were placed in foster care, we got split up. It was four of us, 2 smallest went with a different family. In the end, my mom lost custody of the two smallest ones but yet my sister & I got returned. The got adopted. I have not been able to see my brother & sister in over 18 years. Thanks Adams County Children & Family Services you have failed me.

Beware of Soraya Look case worker and Laura Dunbar GAL,
I HAVE AUDIO RECORDINGS OF OUR FAMILY TEAM MEETING WHERE Laura asks Soraya after 8 months into the case if she has set me up with drug screening and explained to me how to use the phone number to call and if she has given me a pin to use. Soraya replies telling Laura no she has not done this yet and will get it done that day. For 8 months Soraya told the judge I missed numerous drug screens even giving a number like 60 drug screens in 8 months. She said this under oath to the judge for months however 8 months later tells the GAL she has not set me up with screening yet. During my tpr hearing she admitted she had not read the case file that was given to her from a different case worker who handed the case to Soraya. Yet Soraya still said I was u nfit to have my kids. Without even reading the case file. . Soraya Look is a liar and a coward. Adams County cps are crooks and don't care about any child.

all I can say is they are the worst, they don't support the family, the know nothing about kids and all they do is scrutinize and judge to keep you under there web and control, they are just plain terrible, they make up false accusations and a bunch of liers..especially Christan the supervisor and Risa

Adams county cps is responsible for my child’s death and I am in the process of pressing charges against the case worker for failing to follow their oath and procedures beware your kids are not safe with these guys and every single case work who was involved my sons case Luciano Fernandez which is now labeled a FATAL CHILD ABUSE CASE. Those case workers failed my boy!

See a lot of negative remarks , face book me and let's all see bout getting attorney . They took my grand child from my daughter . But I know they lied , the judge liked me in the courtroom . But they had their plans . And they won . They lied to my daughter.
All they wanted to do was break up the family.

We called about a real concern ( a child smoking their parents vape pen) and the case worker thought we were calling just for revenge/out of spite in a custody battle. What a waste of time. If someone you know is in a real danger unfortunately cps won’t do a damn thing about it.

They literally told me that the only abuse someone can report is abuse to someone else's child, by that child's legal caretakers.

I reported that a child had been physically abused by staff at an elementary school. They told me that in Adam's county I had to take my issue up with the staff at that school. I have the call recorded.

I went there to vote this time around. They have kiosks to sign in for help with Medicaid, food stamps, veteran services, alimony, child support, etc. You can also call here to report child or elderly abuse.
