My therapist Jennifer C. Is beyond amazing which is why I'm giving 5 stars rating. However, the front office staff could definitely use some reconstructing or training. Other than that is a 10/10 I highly recommend.

Administrative staff is incompetent. They told me that my insurance was accepted without doing proper research. It was a whole year before they realized they didn't accept my insurance. When they found their mistake, they billed be for the full cost of the visits. What a joke. To be fair, I had a wonderful therapist. If you decide to use their services, just do you own homework for their admins because they haven't a clue.

My girls and I were fortunate to find the most incredible therapist here!Dr Susan May!!! Can’t speak highly enough of her professionalism and understanding of the human brain! She has given us so many tools to help process and communicate with ourselves and others helping us to grow along our journeys in this crazy world!! We couldn’t be where we are today without her help!! We love you Dr May as well as the rest of the staff they are top notch !!This is definitely the best mental health facility I have worked with !!!

I’m a long-time patient here. My therapist has been invaluable in helping me with a wide variety of mental-health issues. The support staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Although A New Start doesn’t advertise this, many of their therapists are Christians, which adds that dynamic to their outlook and help for patients. I live in Fayetteville, which makes traveling to A New Start very easy. I highly recommend A New Start to anyone needing counseling.

NO APPOINTMENTS FOR OVER 2 MONTHS! As a new patient I’m required to fill out all paperwork & insurance has to be verified before an appointment can be scheduled. Once all that is done I’m told “we don’t have any appointments until end of Apri”l it’s February now. But if you want to do self pay we can get you an appointment sooner or call you if anyone cancels.
Absolutely ridiculous seems like A New Start Counseling Center just wants instant money instead of helping people. This may not be the mindset of each therapist but definitely seems sketchy to me. There are people out in this world that are really seeking help and if you are not in the business of helping people you should let that be known or CLOSE YOUR DOORS IMMEDIATELY because you all are part of the problem not the solution.

Absolutely terrible! The office staff never answers the phone and will rarely call you back- if you miss that call you miss your tiny window to speak to a person. Scheduling is month to month IF you can get someone to answer the phone. The first counselor we waited WEEKS to see and she saw my daughter twice and then 'left' the practice, even though I continued to see her in the office. The next counselor we waited weeks to see was very kind yet she did not seem to ever want to see my child (she canceled appointments and completely did not show up for one appointment).
