I can’t say enough about TMAX. After an exhaustive search of martial arts schools in the area, I wanted to find a place that would be a great place for my 4 and 6 year olds for not only taekwondo, but most importantly discipline and respect.

Honestly, there are not many schools that would take on this age… because it’s hard to do.

Master Lee, Master Mulen, Master Tabby and all the assistant instructors are amazing at keeping this age group engaged, fun and active. I have already seen the confidence, coordination and respect improve with my kids in a short amount of time.

Looking forward to the future!

We started Tmax since my son was four years old, and now he is six. Initially, we intended to enable him to concentrate and follow instructions while simultaneously improving his coordination of hands and feet. Subsequently, he has been able to pay attention and focus better than previously, despite its slight improvement. Despite this minor enhancement, we are pleased with the progress.
Master Lee is exceedingly kind and accommodating to all his students, particularly with tiny tigers class. He encouraged them to persist with their lessons. Despite Master Lee's serious demeanor. When he joke, all will laughed with him but when serious, all will be really serious during lessons. Following many classes, we sensed our son was improving in class while still diligently developing his hand-eye coordination. Recently, however, Master Lee has been notably absent from the tiny tiger classroom.
The Master moulin exhibits a less than enthusiastic demeanor, although he maintains an intense level of seriousness in his teaching. It is possible that he has previously tutored younger students, and thus, his intensity in teaching may be heightened. However, it is crucial for him to exhibit more joy during the classroom experience.
Furthermore, we have observed a significant number of mosquitoes present inside the gym. These mosquitoes necessitate their elimination to prevent potential health issues among children.

If I could rate this properly- it would have negative stars.
Went to my daughter's classmates party here today.
A few things were so wrong. Let me start off by saying this, it was a kindergarten child's bday party with 5 and 6yr olds that should have been a good time, but wasn't for a few kids and was downright cruel.

The instructors lack what it takes to work around little kids. Showing no compassion or respect.

A boy who is special needs wasn't following along with the class and was walking on a jumpy thing, the instructor goes and gets large paddles and smacks them behind him and proceeds to follow him back to his "spot" hitting the paddles together loudly. He took too much time off their little lesson to redirect a special needs child. This was a bday party, not a real class!

The kids were allowed to "break" a board , all the kids who chose to participate "broke" a board except for one- the instructor refused to break the board for one little kid who looked to be trying his hardest, he had him recite some " I can do anything " or something multiple times, even made the child switch hands even after I heard him say he didn't use that hand, the child hurt his hand trying so hard even was holding it with a discouraged face, but kept trying, the instructor then called another kid up and the instructor broke his board for him immediately cheering for him while the other boy was still standing there. Then he told the boy to try again,, still not breaking his board for him- then said go sit down, the boy cried tears quietly as he walked back and sat on his spot. Although he was visibly affected, he went and sat down and finished the class respectably.

The instructor also told a kid to move to back when some kids arrived 1.5hrs late, making the kid who arrived ontime give his spot up and sit in the back row alone..
Then told him he was standing in the wrong spot when he wasn't.
Why?

How was this instructor okay smacking paddles behind a special needs child's multiple times and continually calling him out.

No one was trying to become a black belt! It wasn't a test. This wasn't a real class, it was a birthday party that left a bad taste with many of the parents of the cruelty that went on.
The instructors behavior was disgusting. This is an adult bully.

If you have a special needs child- steer very clear.
