I recently attended the Slo StarCPR (11/21-11/22) course for my BLS, PALS, and ACLS training that is required for my job, and it was an absolute blast! The content was super organized, engaging, and totally relevant to my job. The instructor, Ellery, was an absolute rockstar - they knew their stuff and made the whole thing super interactive and fun. I walked away feeling confident and armed with practical skills that I can totally put to use right away. If you’re looking to level up your skills in this area, I highly recommend this training! 10/10 recommend.

Ellery came down to Santa Barbara to do a class for myself and a group in my nursing school class. He was so good natured and engaging. It was a long day, but he made it very interesting, and I left feeling like I had a good understanding of ACLS that I would actually be able to use in practice to save patients. I’d you have a chance to do a class with Ellery, you should do it!

The instructor was amazing. This 4 hour class was far from boring. Lots of hands-on practice with clear directions. Best cpr class I’ve ever attended. Highly recommend Ellery if you have an option. Real-life scenarios made this class even better!

My third time taking classes with Ellery. Each time is a great!!! He makes the class fun for all levels. His stories of real life experiences help to show students the importance and impact what he is teaching. I've had CPR certs for over 20 years and been to several different instructors, his passion for what he does has made me a student for as long as he is teaching.

I found Star CPR to be the most helpful ACLS course I have taken thus far. The instructor, Ellery Conover, did a wonderful job explaining the material in a way that was easy to comprehend and, perhaps more importantly, to remember long-term. I especially appreciated the time taken to review the arrhythmias, which was very helpful. The team at Star CPR is truly doing amazing work by teaching others how to save lives! It is a privilege to have such a wonderful resource in our community. Thank you!

Great class. Very easy to sign up for and Ellery is a great instructor able to give real life examples of what you may experience if you ever do have to administer CPR/First aid. I have taken other CPR certification classes and Star CPR was the best. Thanks Ellery!

My last few CPR certifications have been with Ellery. His class is my favorite. He’s a great instructor and keeps you engaged during the training. I feel like you learn practical steps to First Aid and CPR and I actually left feeling confident that I could be helpful in many situations (instead of simply feeling like I got a certification and checked off the box). I couldn’t imagine a better instructor/class!

Great Training! I have attended many First Aid/CPR trainings over the years and this training was by far the best. Ellery provided knowledge of real life emergency scenarios that were challenging and kept our group totally engaged. I learned better information and left feeling confident about administering aid in any emergency situation. Thank You, Ellery
