Working Solutions helped me get through my first year and has provided me an opportunity most traditional lenders wouldn't. My business wouldn't be what it is today without Working Solutions.

It been two months. Never done with the requirements document. Even when you get get all of the paperwork done for them they always asked for another new and not mentioned interest rate at all plus $50 applications fee . Poor service. Better go with other companies or lenders.

Applying for a small business loan with Working Solutions was an absolute nightmare of a process. Being a non profit, there were so many people involved in the process, so many convoluted process, and last minute requests for documents. Also, the whole process is just disheartening—-if you don’t have enough capital already, they reject you. If you have too much, they reject you. What’s the purpose of this loan Not to mention interest rate is literally market rate. You’re better off going to a private lender. What a joke.

Horrible company with unprofessional and unethical business practices. Charging $50 application fee to apply for a loan? Let’s start here. Two initial weeks of working with a loan officer by the name of Brisia who specifically told me in writing that I could be approved for a specific amount based on the documents that were already submitted during the preliminary review process then retracted her statement once adding her supervisor to our email conversations. It wasn’t until after I began challenging the inconsistent information she was communicating to me via email, and then her later cc’ing her supervisor to our email communications that I realized she wasn’t knowledgeable of the process and obviously became concerned about possibly sharing incorrect information with me, which she ultimately did.

I provided documents confirming multiple streams of income that could have very well been verified and was submitted with legal supporting documentation. Brisia even told me that the underwriting department would not accept a document showing proof of funds that came directly from my bank. My documents were seemingly being accepted and taken into full consideration it seems UNTIL after I submitted a copy of my driver’s license with my photo on it. Honestly it wasn’t until after doing so that I immediately began receiving denial emails. When challenging their decision of not approving the loan based on insufficient documentation, I inquired with them to inform me of the specific documentation that was needed to resolve the insufficiency. Instead of allowing me the opportunity to submit the necessary documentation, Brisia’s response to this was “We have determined and made a final decision and have decided not to approve a loan for your business.” HORRIBLE….. HORRIBLE…. UNETHICAL practices from this company…. Read the other comments… DO NOT waste your time or your $50 on their heinous application fee

An update from my initial review:

I was contacted by a managing supervisor after voicing my concerns about the application. Jon took the time to re-evaluate my application, the process from start to finish and offered solutions that has allowed my application to be revisited and reviewed again. No results yet but I certainly do appreciate that a supervisor took the time not only to address my concerns re-visit my application process but also that he followed back up with me and offered actionable feedback to assist in finding a solution. I will say that this speaks to the integrity of this company rather than ignoring a client’s concerns. Nothing promised and no unrealistic expectations on my behalf so we will see what happens. Great call by the supervisor to follow up

We found Working Solutions during our startup, when they helped us finance equipment and supplies we needed to open our restaurant. From our first meetings, Working Solutions was vastly different than traditional financing institutions. Our application wasn't a simple matter of "yes" or "no"; instead, staff worked closely with us to get our business plan right, not just so that we could qualify for a loan, but because they believed in our dream and truly wanted to help us find success. And this was just the beginning- since then, in addition to regular one on one coaching, knowledgable mentors have been available to help us locate resources or solve challenges whenever we needed guidance.
Ten years later, Working Solutions continues to be a support for our business improvement and growth. They have helped us with everything from refining our p&l's to lease negotiations to connecting with other businesses in our field. Whether you are conceptualizing a startup or trying to take your project to the next level, Working Solutions is an incredible advocate for small business!

HORRIBLE COMPANY. RUDE EMPLOYEES. THEY WILL ASK YOU A MILLION QUESTIONS LIKE ITS AN INTERROGATION FOR THE SMALLEST LOAN. THEY ALSO CHARGE A $50 APPLICATION FEE. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS COMPANY. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Not great. We were denied for a Covid Recovery Loan. The denial response made it pretty clear that they didn't read through the recovery plan that we submitted with the request.
