San Diego Circus Center deserves a solid five stars! My 9-year-old daughter had a blast during her private one-hour lesson. The staff, instructor, and facility were impressive. The talent, discipline, and skill on display were mind-blowing. My daughter couldn't stop smiling while trying aerial silks for the first time. We'll definitely be signing up for more lessons. Highly recommended!

The best circus school on the west coast!

There are so many classes to choose from here that interesting, challenging and fun.
Whether you want to increase your flexibility, try out a handstand or an aerial apparatus, San Diego Circus Center has options for you.

I have been consistently working out here for the last 5 years and am always challenged. Instructors, especially Jean-Luc, are dedicated to helping everyone succeed.

Are these easy workouts? Not really, but the beginner classes are accessible to all and will help you grow your skillset.
Like any rigorous discipline, these can take time to develop. Circus Center will help you get started!

5 Stars doesn’t do the San Diego Circus Center justice. Can we say 100 Stars? Well, Google only goes up to 5. Truly this place is the greatest show… Both my kids attended their summer camp
last summer in 2021. Every day, they were delighted with how much fun they were having in LEARNING new circus skills. Silks, acrobatics, clowning… Our daughter even tried to do her own clown make-up that week! Mara, her husband, and their team are truly experts in delivering a circus experience that’s equally safe as it is professional. The circus show we witnessed featured performances from not just our kids as stars but every single one of the performers, kids to teens and adults, wow! May this show keep going on…

I first came to San Diego Circus Center in 2015 and have been an active member of the community ever since. While the circus center has undergone many changes in the last 6 years, the commitment to excellence has remained. Jean-Luc and Mara, the owners, do their best to make students' experiences wonderful and to find opportunities for individuals to grow. Like any sport or activity, you will get more out of classes if you are consistent, but they also offer drop-ins which work well if you want to try something new or are only in town for a short amount of time. In my opinion, the San Diego Circus Center is the best facility to train both ground and aerial circus arts in Southern California and I recommend it highly to anyone who has been considering checking it out.

The San Diego Circus Center is a hidden gem, located super conveniently right off the 5!! (Very easy to find, and lots of street parking if the lot is full) It's definitely worth checking out if you've ever thought about exploring the Circus Arts. There are lots of unique classes offered throughout the day, with really skilled/knowledgeable teachers. There are also a lot of really talented and dedicated students (of all ages!) which are all SO inspiring to train amongst. I love being a part of the community Jean-Luc has created at the Circus Center. We are so lucky to have this space here in San Diego!!

PS Highly recommend checking out one the incredible shows they put on a couple times a year! It's like a mini trip to Vegas, minus the airfare or chaos 🙂

The San Diego Circus Center is a magical place! We came to train partner acrobatics and handstands, and I feel our practice thrived and improved greatly in the month that we've been here. Jean-Luc has a fantastic eye, is a great spotter, and always seems to know the right progression or drill to get you to the next step. We'll definitely be coming back

I can't recommend the San Diego Circus Center enough! The facility is great and the teachers are wonderful! Especially Jean-Luc Martin who has an amazing coaches eye! He will look at you and your body's potential, and he will help you go further than you imagined. He will help you get better but will work with what your body is capable of instead of pointing everyone down the same path. Expect to work hard. All the classes even the flexibility ones are serious. But every teacher there is happy to work with where you are.

I cannot wait to go back and train more!

TLDR; extremely constructive, professional, warm, and welcoming.

I traveled in from Arizona with my colleagues to receive higher level training which is not readily available in our state. SDCC was extremely conscious of our aerial and handstand goals and extremely accommodating to our schedules. Each of us took a number of classes and privates with the instructors. I worked with Jean-Luc in handstands and received valuable cues and drills which I've never received in the past which dramatically changed how I do handstands. Doing duo trapeze, static trapeze, and straps with Tatiana was incredibly successful and positively challenging. I am really appreciative that each instructors considered what skills we have, our anatomy, provided homework, and made the most of our time since we're only visiting. The studio is beautiful and has everything you need. I felt so welcomed and the people are so friendly. I highly recommend this place.
