Had an in person appointment today, and the counselor I had was so not helpful and RUDE! I left there very discouraged. She was not helpful at all! Next time I’ll be sure to never ever book with her again, since there were no other options I had to choose her. If you don’t want to work and be a helpful counselor, don’t be in the field. I would have given this no stars! There’s a lot more I could say.

I tried to make an appointment since the spring semester, I called many times and came in person, but believe me, I could not make an appointment with the counselor. If you go in person, they tell you to call us, but if you call, they don't answer. I am not satisfied with the service.

The management here is horrendous. It seems that their method of scheduling for counseling appointments is to avoid any sort of real work. Every time I try to schedule, whether calling them on the phone or going in person, I'm always met with the same response "The next available appointment is (insert 2 weeks from current date), but we can't schedule out more than 2 weeks. So you'll have to call tomorrow to make an appointment for that day." Even if I call the next day FIRST THING IN THE MORNING AT 8 AM (which is the time they open), they will still say the same thing. I dont know who is managing the counseling services but it seems that all the front desk people are trained to read off the same script to get you off their back, which is really upsetting because why have the counseling department with people working at the front when it does not provide any help to the actual students attending the school? This whole operation of "not being able to book within 2 weeks, but call back tomorrow and we'll just tell you the same thing" is really sketchy and I hope their teams sees this review and aims to provide more transparent services.

Everyone here makes it their daily task to make sure no one gets appointments made because thats what it seems like.. I truly don't understand what the difficulty is to make an appointment or talk to anyone who works here. Maybe consider hiring some new people who will do their job. And the website is impossible. You call the number and it just hangs up automatically for no reason. I almost wish I didn't go to school here because the counseling or getting any help at all from the counselors is such a hassle. Do better.

I called to get some help and was met with really hostile responses. I was trying to work with them regardless and was transferred. The person on the other line never picked up and wasted my time. I’m a calm person, but man did these people test my patience. Please rehire!

I don’t know who the man is answering phones 12/11/23 at 9:11am but I called because I never received a link for zoom on Thursday 12/7 and he wants to be rude and ask me why I’m calling when it’s now Monday instead of apologizing and figuring out why I didn’t receive a link. I told him he had an attitude and that I didn’t call because I got married on 12/8 so I was obviously busy. He hung up on me because he didn’t think anyone would call him out and now nobody will answer. The question is why didn’t you follow through with your appointments?

Ever since covid I understand people are short staffed but most facilities and businesses have been back to work for awhile. Besides I tried to schedule just a phone app and all appts over the phone so I'm not sure I understand. today is 12/8 I was told to call back after winter break after 23d and try calling everyday to get on the drop appt list. So currently no appts I can schedule at all. When I called the counseling center a woman spent 5 min on the phone explaining that they are short staffed and when I should call back, a counselor could ve answered my question within that 5 min frame.
