My first therapist was Josh Green from Greenhouse Therapy. I was recently diagnosed as bipolar and was seeing josh for two months. At the beginning of our sessions it felt natural and easy talking to him. As the weeks flew by I thought that we were getting somewhere until one day I went to my appointment at his office and he wasn’t there. I called and texted him days after thinking there was a mistake or emergency but it was just silence.

The worst part of it all was him ghosting me. It’s extremely unprofessional given that he treats many people with mental disorders. I felt abandoned, worthless, and I blamed myself (which was something I had already struggled with). The feelings pushed me further into my depression and two months later I ended up in the hospital. As a educated and trained professional, I am sure he knows the consequences of his actions and he should be ashamed of himself.
