My experience at this hotel was terrible. No one there seems to understand the hospitality industry, as the new management is rude and clueless. One staff member lied to me about when my card would be charged, claiming it wouldn’t be until checkout—but they charged it immediately.

The owner argued with me over the price, which was absurd for a 2-star hotel. I could have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express nearby for a similar rate and much better service. The breakfast was a joke, with only old yogurt in the lobby, where staff were rarely present.

Facilities were dysfunctional: the first night, the hot water was so scalding it caused burns, the TV didn’t work, the room phone was out of order, and paint was peeling off the walls. On top of it, a loud party went on until 11 PM with no warning or attempt to resolve the noise.

The owner was dismissive, insisting there were no cheaper options—yet the room was listed online for less than I paid. They also pushed a supposed "deal" involving $15 daily credits for meals at their restaurants, which was just a cheap money shuffle.

This was a miserable stay, and I wouldn’t return. Next time, it’s the Holiday Inn Express for sure.

Have had multiple bad experiences at this hotel. The most recent was in December 2024. Receptionist at check-in was determined to downgrade our room without refunding the cost difference. The mattress was good. The Jacuzzi was very difficult to get into and out of. When the Jacuzzi jets were turned on, it smelled like sewage. Hotel is supposedly pet friendly, but the Jacuzzi rooms are not.

Everything about the facility was good. Some confusion with the staff on how many rooms we booked. Nice breakfast arrangement with the Perkins next door. Pool area was good, and the rooms surround a big common area.

The evening front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. the lobby was nicely decorated. Our rooms were clean and large.

The heater in my room didn't work. Freezing all night. My room wasn't even on the outside of the place. The heater just wouldn't come on.

And they just opened my door before checkout time, even though I have the do not disturb sign out. So they lost the last star. Good thing I wasn't in the shower!

Very comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay while we were in area to visit wildlife refuges. We weren’t told about elevator to 2nd floor, so please enquire before you carry possessions up rather steep stairs. Staff was friendly. Everything was in good working order. We had room away from courtyard area which made it quieter than last stay, when there was a large party in that area and room had sliding glass door that opened to it. They give you a coupon for breakfast at family restaurant across parking lot, but also yogurt, fruit and granola bars in lobby if you wanted something different. The bistro restaurant across parking lot was easy to get to and food very good.

We pulled in to sleep while traveling cross country - and the people in the room kept us up until after 11. The walls aren’t very thick and we heard the tv and their voices. The beds were soft but lumpy. The shower had good water pressure. There wasn’t a continental breakfast (just yogurt, coffee and granola bars) but they gave us a $20 voucher for the Perkins next door (unfortunately $20 doesn’t go far for three people). The pool and hot tub looked nice but we didn’t have time to get in.
