We purchased our first lab (a yellow male, Rusty) from Jenny 8 years ago. He is the best boy! When it came time to introduce another puppy into our lives, we knew we wanted to purchase from OKE. Jenny is wonderful to work with - she is knowledgeable, honest & hardworking. You can tell she loves what she does and she produces beautiful labs with wonderful temperaments. Jenny made the process of purchasing our pup stress free. Our George has a wonderful temperament and is never antsy or afraid of loud sounds. He was even very easy to introduce to an older cat. He is perfectly healthy and Jenny makes sure we leave with DNA and health records. I’m so happy I found a great breeder!

I spent a long time researching breeders and kept coming back to Oke. We ended up getting a lab from Jenny. Every aspect of my experience of adding a new member to our family was how you would hope. Jenny was wonderful and made sure I left fully prepared with the knowledge I would need. Our puppy ended up being one of the most wonderful, well-behaved dogs I have ever come across. People always comment on her sweetness and behavior. We ended up getting a second pup from Jenny, and fully prepared ourselves for the craziness of two puppies, but our second dog is just as amazing, calm, well-trained, and affectionate. We immediately had no problems taking two out for walks. It is hard to decide a breeder to choose since a dog is such a long-term commitment. I will only get dogs from Jenny and will highly recommend her to anyone who is looking. I am so grateful for the joy they have brought to our family.

I just got my dog a week or so ago and he was put through the Started Puppy program. Everyone that I told I was going to have my dog trained was more than skeptical and so was I. I figured if the dog just came 5% trained maybe it was worth it but let me tell you I am floored. His first night home I took him to downtown Sacramento next to the stadium. I wanted to see how he would react around people, trains, music, etc etc. Just perfect! He would always sit to get pet by anyone from a child to an adult, little leash pulling, zero barking, no jumping up....nothing. Now he is still a puppy so he has his issues but I will be more than happy to tell anyone about this experience(reach out to Jenny and I will be more than happy to tell you my thoughts).

Just an update as he is now getting to be a year old. Still no barking, no noise of any manner except very loud ear flopping in the morning to get fed! People constantly ask me what type of dog he is since he is so calm out in public(picture of him on the floor during lunch). Nobody believes this guy is less than a year old and a lab. I included a picture of him playing with a new small puppy about 12 pound's to show his temperament. He must be 70-80 pounds by now but loves every dog even the ones that don't want to play. Still has yet to chew anything up or destroy a toy. I have taken him to bars, restaurants, concerts, baseball games you name it without a bark or any problems. Easiest puppy/dog not only from me but everyone that meets him.

We couldn't be happier with our "Moose"! Jenny, the breeder, is such a professional and caring breeder. It's obvious she loves what she does, and her dogs all love her too! My husband and I did months of research to find the right breeder to meet our needs, and one of the reasons we chose Jenny is that she has "started puppies" she trains based on customers' needs. We wanted a mellow male pup, crate trained, one that didn't jump, would fetch and was easy to train. She more than delivered! Moose is the sweetest, most manageable dog we've ever had, and we've had several! All our friends, as well as strangers at dog parks, ALWAYS remark about how sweet, calm and well behaved he is, especially for how young he is!

During our initial visit to her beautiful farm to meet Jenny and her pups, we totally fell head over heels in love with Moose and Jenny! We were amazed with how much knowledge she had about her dogs and were so thankful for all the time she spent with us while we got to know Moose and his lovely momma, Ruby. And, she never made us feel rushed while answering our many questions, while playing with Moose.

When we went back a few weeks later to purchase Moose, after puppy training was over, not only did she review with us how to continue training Moose by demonstrating her techniques and language, and having us practice while she watched (and thankfully corrected), she supplied us with a notebook full of litter certificates, vaccination and medical information, certificated pedigrees, orthopedic reports, genetic health certificates, as well as tons of general information about dog ownership.

Moose is now 10 months old, and Jenny continues to check in with us on his progress. We couldn't possibly have found a better breeder, nor a better dog! We will be forever grateful, Jenny!

We got a wonderful little baby girl from Oke. It was much anticipated, and a very easy process. They were great on communication especially being so excited, I was relatively needy. We got to first meet her at 6 weeks and adopt at 8. Shots and lots of information such as lineage and paperwork included.

WE HAVE TWO CHOCOLATE LABRADORS FROM OKE LABRADORS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND JENNY! Bought our first chocolate lab from OKE in Oct. 2017. All our conversations, photos & videos with Jenny, the breeder leading up to our "pick out puppy date" was outstanding. All communications since then have been great as well. So great, that in May 2018 we bought our second Labrador from OKE. Jenny provides you with a great deal of information, her own puppy pack which is full of tips & tricks, toys, food and treats to help with the transition of the puppy from leaving their mom and going to new homes. She doesn't want to stress the puppies nor the owners. Our chocolate girls are sisters from Rock and Purdy but different litters. We drove two days to Maxwell and visited with Jenny to inspect/visit her place on both occasions. Interacted with all the dogs and saw the puppies parents, Rock and Purdy. We were very impressed with Jenny, her knowledge of the dogs, honesty and her family farm. You can tell she cares about the puppies and isn't placing them in a home unless they are going to be well cared for. She was interested in our family and how we interacted with the dogs. Honestly if we had room, we would add additional puppies to our home. Jenny had been recommended to us by a Southern California Labrador breeder, whom we had previously gotten a chocolate Labradors from. Our current chocolate girls are our 4th & 5th labradors. All our past labradors lived great long lives. We have done our homework searching Labrador breeders and without doubt, Jenny is one of the Top Breeders on the west coast and is not a puppy mill type of breeder. When the day comes that we need another Labrador, we hope that Jenny will still be in Maxwell breeding the same quality of labradors that she is breeding today.

I could not be happier with my experience at OKE Labs. Jenny was awesome to work with in picking out the right puppy. She provided me with a comprehensive packet including with all the puppy's medical records to date, certifications and tips& tricks on how to transition your puppy into your home. Jenny's first priority is keeping your puppy happy and healthy. For example, we were supposed to pick up the puppies a few days before the 4th of July. She made the executive decision to hold onto the puppies a week longer in efforts to avoid the puppies from being traumatized from fireworks in their new homes. If this doesn't exemplify that she has the best intentions for your puppies then I don't know what else will. Lastly, I was looking for a good bird dog and in the first few visits, she bird tested the puppies and helped me pick the right one. Now my puppy is fully trained and has the best instincts for waterfowl. I would 100% recommend OKE labs to anyone.
