Over the past 15 years, I've probably led thousands of online meetings, workshops and discussions. But the session I ran last night -- the first one since I participated in Virtual Facilitation's 5-week workshop -- was 100x better. I was better prepared, used the tools more fluidly and effectively, and achieved a high level of engagement like never before. The weeks of the workshop were laid out clearly and effectively, with excellent supporting materials and videos for preparation. The 3-hour workshop sessions were a pleasure to participate in - the team were the very definition of "best practice" in pacing them well, connecting the participants into a learning cohort, and fun. I've already recommended Virtual Facilitation to many colleagues, and I'm looking forward to the next time I can participate in a program or event.

The Virtual Facilitation class is one of the best classes I have attended. The class was almost 95% class participation which really helped with learning all the different structures. And then on top of that all the new people I met that will be my support while I put my learnings into practice. I highly recommend this class!

For anyone who needs to design and/or facilitate workshops, classes, teambuilding...any virtual event, this course will provide you with the tools, skills and knowledge to do it well.

Like many, I had to pivot at the beginning of the pandemic. Without the skills I learned in this course, I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of the work I'm doing virtually. We're getting rave reviews on our virtual learning.
Knowing how to effectively design and facilitate in a virtual environment are critical skills, as it seems it's here to stay.

I highly recommend Fernando and his team. They are generous facilitators with a wealth of knowledge, and make the course fun, engaging and very valuable.

These sessions are amazing. I didn't know what to expect but received a lot of information and knowledge that I can use in my professional and personal life. I appreciate the facilitators and what they do. They were very responsive and assisted me when I had questions. Thank you Fernando and Carolina for these wonderful sessions. You will be doing a disservice if you miss out on this.

I never thought I’d be leading online facilitation, and as an independent facilitator I was left with little choice but to figure things out myself. Two years into the pandemic and there is still so much to learn! Virtualfacilitation.com (Fernando and Carolina with Jane and Hector) provided such a supportive and collaborative space to try new things that I wish I’d had their guidance early on. This course is excellent for people who are new to online facilitation and those who have been doing it for years. Thank you Fernando, Carolina, Jane and Hector for creating such rich and collaborative space for us to work together and learn from each other!! I highly recommend this course.

I had a problem. I needed a quick review of what tools were available for facilitating groups virtually. The pandemic had turned the world upside down in regard to "in person" meetings. I knew some platforms and tools for working virtually, but I also knew that "I didn't know what I didn't know" about what was available.

The Virtual Facilitation group offered a great course that allowed students like myself to become quickly engaged in the various technologies and tools and platforms that can be used in virtual settings.

The course is not designed to make you a technical expert nor teach you every single nuance of each tool. Instead, the course in a sense says, "This tool can be used in this situation. Try it, work with your classmates, see what you can do with it, and evaluate how it might benefit you."

It is a "hands on" course; no books, no manuals, no rules and regulations.
Instead, you jump in and see what it can do while being guided by three professionals who do know the intricacies of each tool and platform they share with their students.

I really liked the course, the teacher/facilitators, and I'm looking forward to their next offering that can assist me and others develop their next level virtual skills.
