The community that we build here is phenomenal. Fred, who owns Mac983 has been continuously improving the ambience and equipment to give us the best experience. Coaches Trevor, Ryan, Jessica, Chandelle are fantastic. And Olympic Lifting classes twice a week has a separate fan base.

I’ve been CrossFittig for 15 years. Recently switched gyms to mach983. My impressions: they are friendly and people went out of their way to welcome me. Second the coaching staff is top notch so can guide a noobie and a seasoned athlete. Third , The community has a great depth of demographics: young , old, all races , men women and in between. This says a lot about the group’s dedication to fitness as and health. It’s for everyone.

Updated review: I’ve attended over 450 classes and open gyms at Mach983 and I still love the gym and community as much as I did on day 1. Fred is the best gym owner and truly cares and makes people feel included. I feel lucky to be able to be part of this community

I used to attend 720 Athletics, but since moving to North Park Hill I needed to find a CrossFit community that was closer. I reached out to multiple gyms in the area and Mach983 was the most responsive and most inviting.
The 2 most important things I look for in a gym are community/inclusivity and programming/coaching.

Regarding COMMUNITY/INCLUSIVITY
1. Fred (the owner) was communicative and inviting from the beginning.
2. The gym hosts events to bring the community together. They did a fundraiser a few weeks ago and last weekend they did a brewery outing and a birthday wod for one of the coaches
3. The members are inviting and friendly! I’ve only been here 2 months and already have friends here. If you are someone like me (moving to Denver with no friends) a CrossFit gym can be the perfect place to build a community.
4. Fred is a strong advocate for FYR Denver (forging youth resilience) which is a program that supports at-risk youth with fitness, etc… The fundraiser a few weeks back was to support this cause

Regarding PROGRAMMING/COACHING
1. Mach uses Mayhem programming, which is programming that I’ve been used to/love and has helped me get stronger
2. The coaches are all very knowledgeable and supportive. If you don’t have experience with CrossFit and/or it intimidates you Mach983 is a great place to dip your toes in.

Also the gym opened this summer and so the equipment is pretty much new!

My only regret is that I didn’t join sooner! Honestly, I love everything about this gym. Ample space, great equipment, solid app for booking/viewing workouts, awesome coaches and engaging programming. BUT the best part of Mach983 is the community. Such a open, positive vibe. This gym welcomes everyone regardless of fitness level and makes them feel like part of the family from day 1. It’s easy enough to find a nice gym these days but one with community like this is pretty special. The owner, Fred, is a rockstar… he’s truly invested in each person’s goals and making sure their experience is a positive one.

This is a great gym that not only provides a great workout but supports amazing community programs like Forging Youth Resilience, The Phoenix and Redemption Road CrossFit. The coaching is excellent, the people are fantastic, and I’m glad to be a part of it!
