Check-in and security were great, but the terminal itself is surely one of the circles of hell. Poorly organized, not enough seating at the gates, and outrageously priced food, even for an airport. Oh, and they've switch my gate like 4 times and their announcement speakers are barely loud enough to be heard.

I love this airport. It’s one of the best to fly out of because it’s so small. The parking lot is right next to the terminals. There is almost never a wait to get through security. The planes are smaller and regional so they create less noise pollution. The views when walking on to the plane and flying out of the airport are spectacular. You can also very easily coordinate a driver to pick you up from the airport. Baggage claims are easy to navigate. Very well organized location. That said, be sure to check your flight status in inclement weather, as many flights are either cancelled, rerouted, or delayed during periods of heavy snowfall. This is a very difficult airport for planes to fly in and out of.

Absolutely love this small airport. Staff were incredibly friendly and everything was smooth. In my case lots of places to sit with plug points to charge your things (3 pin and usb). Water fountains to drink and for your bottles available. There were lots of really nice photos on the wall to look at. There is a slightly more quiet area which is nice to have some down time. Several different snacks and sandwiches available, and lots of liquids to choose from. The PA system isn’t loud so the announcements didn’t bother me at all.

Man in the baggage area asked me three times if I was staying overnight after I already told him I was only there waiting on my friends to arrive from different flight -- super weird given he wasn't asking anyone else that. Lady at the concession stand didn't want to be there. The chips I bought were PAST the expiration date. I tried telling her that and she just looked at me and continued talking on the phone. I sat the expired bag of chips on the counter and took another bag. I should have cleaned them dry.
Departing was horrible. Airport can't handle snow (even more weird) . Had to drive to Denver to get home. A mess.

Compact airport ever seen in my life.
There are many colourful flowers in summer and a monument of gondola outside the airport.
You can take a taxi as soon as get out the airport from the departure door and it was very convenient. Including gratuities we paid $60 to snowmass but turned out there are FREE public bus.On our way back home, the flight was delayed by storm and it seems that it's very easy to be affected by the weather as it's surrounded by mountains.

Flying out from this airport was a horrible experience, especially during the winter. My flight was delayed for 4 hours because they claimed the crew got insufficient rest. Then when it’s time to start boarding the flight is cancelled due to poor weather conditions. They said there will be no flight departures until Wednesday, which is two days later. The airline provided no hotel voucher, transportation voucher, or food voucher. I planned to stay at the airport, but I didn't realize they close at 11. One of the airport workers kept heckling me on if I have somewhere to go and when I planned on leaving. It is now 8pm. Then they go to get the supervisor and then the sheriff was called. Mind you I am on the phone with united airlines trying to rebook a flight and get hotel vouchers. Looking back, they were not hackling anyone else but me. Their racism was on full display because why call the sheriff when I was not being belligerent or causing a nuisance. There was still two hours left until closing time. I had to get an uber to take me to Denver, which is 6 hours away and cost $1200. Aspen is also racist AF, they smile in your face but the whole time don't want you there. I spent 4 nights there and IDK what the hype is about.

Ines at American Airlines is an amazing woman! She saved our day by getting us on a direct flight home after so many cancelations. So thankful 🙂

Considering it’s a very small airport, you would think it would be clean. We checked in at 10:30A and the carpeted areas were dirty. The restaurant hard floor was filthy and many seats had spilled drinks. You would think the airport would be cleaned every night and then as needed spot cleaned during the day. Looked to me that the airport did not start the day in a cleaned state.
