Dr. Wilson, at a previous practice, completely dismissed concerns about ongoing memory loss, depression, anxiety, vertigo, balance problems, and other symptoms similar to those of ischemic episodes, or mini strokes. Because his testing showed "normal memory," he adamantly refused to consider any diagnosis other than "just anxiety" or "just depression." As an educator, I have a high regard for tests and measurement. However, real life symptoms must be taken under consideration. Dr. Wilson deflected reasonable questions challenging his conclusions, leaving the patient feeling completely hopeless to the point of suicidal ideation. It turned out that that there was a significant cerebral spinal fluid leak from his skull. It took almost six hours for a surgeon to repair and close the breach in the skull. Patient is left with permanent hearing and memory loss and significant balance problems. A similar review has been left in the past. It's notable that in PT, he lists his practice name, not his own. I would not recommend this caregiver to anyone.
