About 5 months after my mom died, I chose to seek therapy to help me understand and move through my grief that seemed to be overtaking me. I feel like meeting Delinda was such a miracle in my life. She allowed me to speak freely about everything I was experiencing during this time and was extremely helpful in creating my understanding of what I was feeling and why, and that it was all “normal” and okay. I had never been through grief before, so I was really struggling to understand myself and my thoughts/feelings. Delinda helped me identify the reasoning behind the thoughts & feelings I was having and navigate my path out of the darkness. Going to therapy with Delinda started with my struggles to overcome the loss of my mom, but it ended up continuing after as I worked through other areas in my life. Crazy how everything is always connected. I started with seeing Delinda every week and feeling like a stranger to myself, to now only scheduling appointments when I feel like I want some extra guidance. I feel like myself again, stronger, secure in who I am, more understanding and compassionate than ever before. I think of Delinda as a very special person in my life and I am very grateful to have met her. She has a very positive and uplifting personality and has initiated so many “lightbulb” moments for me in our sessions. I absolutely could not be where I am today without her guidance the last 4 years. She is an extremely special person and I highly recommend her to everyone!
