This was our third or fourth year using Kalos. I moved from a higher volume tax preparer on the coast that seemed to be just going through the motions. The information collecting INTUIT link made getting my info to Kalos quite simple. A couple of phone calls to clarify some issues and my taxes were completed. Our phone calls were handled promptly and courteously by the office staff. We were able to sign the forms online and file without going into the office. We hired Brian Carr to amend a deceased family members taxes. He never properly filed and as a result have incurred interest and was lied to for 6months. When we asked him about the issue, he dropped us as clients. The IRS has recommended we report him for misconduct. Save yourself the headache and money and find another tax corp.

After dealing with horrible bookkeepers over the past 15 years, I was recommended to try Kalos tax Management.

I thought I found salvation with Jeff Tabor and Ronnie (the office manager). In the beginning they provided this song and dance and made me feel comfortable and secure, but after numerous audits and numerous other problems over all over a long time with Kalos, as I felt that the service I was receiving was lackluster and almost felt as if they were lying to me about their abilities. I also felt that they strung things out - at my expense, due to their in abilities or worse, more money for hours spent on my account.

After losing key employees that were the backbone of Kalos, it only got worse and I decided to move my business financials to an actual Accountant where all my fears were proven true after my accountant had to fix almost everything I had paid Kalos to do. Its disheartening to write this as I truly felt that Kalos was a great company but after paying someone else to correct their inefficiency's, there is no denying their inabilities that cost me thousands of dollars to correct. Its been years and I'm still dealing with what Kalos did to me and my business and I'm not done.

I would strongly urge anyone thinking about using Kalos for a business setting to reconsider and to seek out a licensed, insured accountant. I have nothing personal against Jeff or Ronnie - They are both very outgoing and personable but after what I had to fix and continue to fix to this day, I can't wholeheartedly recommend anyone to use their services

WORST TAX EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, SAVE YOUR MONEY! I met with Ronnie in April 2023 to file my taxes. On November 9th, 2023 her receptionist, Paula called me to inform me that my taxes were rejected on September 14th and if I didn’t contact the IRS that day I would be penalized for late submission. They requested an extension on my taxes because their caseload was too high and they couldn’t file my taxes in a timely manner. Paula was extremely rude and unprofessional in conversation regarding this matter and when I asked why I wasn’t informed on this when I called to check the status of my tax return 3x between August-October she claimed that she will not be playing the blame game. This company charges top dollar for less than mediocre services. I am tempted to report them to the better business bureau, save your money and find a different tax agency!
