I trained with CFCI, and witnessed my first trainer pin a non verbal kid between the wall and a table because the child didn’t want to engage with the material. The trainer then went on to talk about the child as if she didn’t exist and was incapable of understanding, a general sentiment carried on by both mentors and coworkers. Note that the first thing you are trained on is how to physically restrain a child if they’re getting physical during a meltdown. I’ve not seen that same degree of physical training with other behavioral clinics I’ve worked with, and that’s not an understatement. CFCI is one of the more unethical institutions, with the best reviews written by the heads of the agency. Lack of transparency, and cases are not looked into despite necessity for involvement. Wouldn’t recommend. As a workplace, toxic workplace with weird dynamics that carry over into the way people interact with the children. Super strange, but best of luck.

If your child has mild behaviors due to their disability then do not take them here because they do not have the proper experience to work with children with Autism who need behavior intervention. This place only has the expertise to serve children with Autism who do not have mild to high behavior intervention needs.

I definitely do not recommend this company. They have NO patience for kids with Autism. They are not helpful with anything and they don't like parents questions. Unprofessional staff!!
