Before making a decision, consider visiting CenturyLink's website to compare their services with those of competitors, read more detailed customer reviews, and perhaps reach out to their customer service for more information. Recently my internet connection keeps going out and they no longer have 24/7 service, the customer service sucks. They use to be able to help you with most problems over the phone; now all they want to do is send someone out. So you have to wait days or weeks until a technician can come out and then in my situation, it works for two days and then I'm down again! When I ask for a discount because my internet is down more then it is working, they won't give me one. This company has really gone down hill and does not seem to care about their customers.

Wretched, wretched "service," if you can call it that. I purchased a family property, tried to transfer the phone service from my uncle's name to mine, keeping the same phone number. It took WEEKS, with BOTH of us calling. At one point, they put me on a never-ending automated service loop that I had to hang up from. I finally thought things were going smoothly, then a get a bill for HALF AGAIN what I was told the (grossly-inflated) price would be. Their records say we've been loyal customers for SIXTY YEARS with this family property. But as soon as I can find other service, I'm done with this train-wreck. Automated phone system is beyond hellacious. Reps aren't given the authority to help. Promised call-backs don't happen. Wait times are outrageous. All to pay out the wazoo for the "privilege" of having them provide a service at prices that are absurdly inflated. SO not worth it!

Absolutely terrible service, gotta wait on the phone for an hour to get a hold of anybody, just to get redirected five times and told that your service is fine even when it’s not. they provide half of the promised service that you sign up for. The customer service is worthless

CenturyLink directed me to chat for several things that should just be available online, trying to upsell me at every step. Wasted my time, then informed me the changes I need cannot be made because their system is down. Srsly. Will not be a customer again.

Yes it's a one star... the tech's that come out and do the installation are the best, they stayed on site to figure it out when the other people were the ones that messed up my order. They are the real deal. I originally ordered the 60 and had to settle with a 30 do to being told the 60 isn't available in my location even after it said on the site it was but oh well... you get it... now the 30 is running slower than a sloth.
