Stay away!! Worst therapist ever. I went to her for grief counseling for the death of my son and not only did she not ask one single question about my son, she wanted to know specific details about the day he died. She also demanded that I go to the place where he died and when I refused she treated me like a bad person. To top it all off she tried to convince me that his death was not a suicide which it clearly was. When I told her she was wrong, she challenged me and became upset. I don’t know where she got her license from but it should be taken away.

While I have not seen Stephanie since around 2012 when I was a teenager, I have some major trauma due to her counseling services. I randomly came across her page this evening and it invoked some very heavy emotions. I was forced to see her by my guardian after a traumatic event in my life and she truly made it worse. She was extremely unhelpful and any time I opened up about my anxiety and depression, she only told me to write it in a journal even when I expressed that it wasn't beneficial for me. She convinced my guardian I had an eating disorder just because I was a skinny teenager, making my guardian attend school lunches with me every day to make sure I ate. She truly painted me out to be a terrible, troubled child to my guardian and it never felt like she was "on my side" or even the least bit supportive. Please consider searching for a different therapist if Stephanie is on your radar.

Do not recommend at all. If you are someone who struggles to open up and want to avoid opening up to another therapist. Then save your time and money. I gave many chances, attending sessions and each time i felt like i was being attacked for my weight I am healthy and already struggle with my body image i was 219 and got down to 140 and even the previous wt i was at was 130 and according to her for being 5,3 I'm still considered over weight or felt that i was called a liar. At one point it was made out that i was a hard person to work with. I have seen about two therapist and a psychiatrist never have i had any issues with. There were maybe rare situations where this therapist meant well. I do not believe they care at all except to use clients to feel superior. The whole time she just would constantly make it hard to even trust her due to the fact the constant questioning and then turning on me for focusing on a topic she would ask about. Please if you are someone who is already having a hard time making a step to see a therapist be cautious. Everyone is different and click easier then others. Im not sure why it did not work out for me but I'm cool off of someone thinking they know more than even my doctor and psychiatrist with higher degrees no offense. Also, did not appreciate her talking to my husband in front of me regarding watching out how i react on medication as if I’m a child or extreme mental issues. It felt like she wanted me to be diagnosed based on her opinions. One example is i struggle with remembering things all the time and it comes with having adhd, but no when giving me an appointment card and me knowing myself that i will loose it so i take pictures to help. She says see it’s anxiety almost to be passive as a way to say you do not have adhd or another one is the reason i loose my phone is because I’m on it too much. After dealing with the many bad sessions. I am debating on even seeing another therapist. Then this lady says to feel free to come back and wants to be opened to recommending me to another therapist. Yeah, ill pass why would anyone want to see someone recommended by a therapist who did not workout and see their colleague that you know will get feedback from them. Not a healthy foundation. Time is so precious and sometimes spending extra time doing something for you is better than wasting it seeing a therapist who makes you feel worst, and taking up your entire day and make money off of being unkind. I would not be surprised if the positive reviews on here are fake and made by her close friends or unfortunate people easily to be manipulated.

This therapist is not helpful. Trying to work together for our daughter's mental well being was actually not helpful at all using this therapist. She does not want to hear family perspective (even with my daughter's permission) because "she has to stay loyal" to her patient. Meanwhile my daughter was making dangerous decisions that her father and I try to help her navigate with 0 help from this therapist. Not sure how she got her degree.

Stephanie is kind, patient and resourceful. She tentatively listens to details and provides an educated guide for how to approach and handle issues. I have never had difficulty getting in contact with Stephanie, she has worked around my schedule. I have and will recommend Stephanie to anyone with anxiety and depression battles. Her ability to help others is a blessing to our community .

Stephanie is an amazing therapist and very intelligent. She approaches her clients with the utmost respect and is incredibly compassionate and non-judgmental. I have known Stephanie for nearly 15 years and I would highly recommend her for issues related to LGBTQ and trauma as these are areas of her particular specialty.

Wonderful to work with. I continue to see Mrs Fischer as she is the only therapist in a long line that was patient and caring enough to get me to open up. My life is finally my own in no small part thanks to Mrs. Fischer. She is always flexible with my crazy schedule and now with telehealth it's even better.

She was the worst therapist I have ever went to and I’ve been to a few. I told her about a traumatic experience I had, and she totally disregarded how I felt, as if it didn’t affect me because of how young I was. She’s the reason why people keep things inside, because of her I will never ever share that trauma with anyone else ever again. That was the first and last time I speak of that event. Thanks 😊
