Once again I am dealing with ANOTHER billing issue with this company.

So bad in fact that I had to delete my previous one star review to repost ANOTHER one star review. If my therapist wasn’t amazing I would have already ran for the hills, because lord knows this company should not be in the business of psychological or psychiatric care because I feel like I am losing my damn mind dealing with them!!!

I need desperate help with Lifestance’s billing. I absolutely adore my therapist and have made so much progress in the past few years and am doing my damnest trying to facilitate an issue.

I have tried EVERYTHING and have now resorted to writing ANOTHER review in hopes that SOMEONE will read this and finally end my stress.

Why is it that only by writing a one star review with the world to see that it is the only time I receive any sort of patient care or concern from their staff!?

I am so tired of having to fix THEIR problems or beg for assistance because there is no means to speak with anyone who can fix your problems without dealing with corporate red tape.

This has already happened once before and now here I am AGAIN.

The management of Lifestance is honestly a joke and just about the most stressful company to deal with. Countless messages with zero response or unhelpful answers, like being told they will simply escalate my concerns. The first time - Countless calls to billing with 2+ hour wait times. I was told my issue would be dealt with in about two weeks and would receive a call back - NOTHING. Now I can’t get a hold of anyone! Even the customer service reps can’t get direct access and have told me to just keep on calling!!!

Now here we go again like some cruel joke.

My insurance showed up as ineligible for some reason in their system and during my weekly sessions I incurred a yet another balance that has yet to be adjusted even after I have sent several emails requesting for the balance to be reviewed and back dated with my insurance coverage. I would LOVE to pay my copay balance. Please! Help!!!!!

I followed up with my insurance company after receiving a call from Lifestance claiming my card on file didn’t go through. Lifestance NEVER called my company to verify my eligibility nor followed up with me after noticing the change in the system or problem with my insurance. Even though I have been attending sessions for two years with continual eligibility in the past - Truly disappointing and disgusting for a company priding itself in patient care.

I have spoken to so many Lifestance reps about this to no avail. Now I am receiving countless harassing messages to pay my balance or risk being sent to collections over a system error! I have asked for help but the messages do not stop. This has to be illegal! They aren’t responding to me but are instead demanding for a card to be on file. Why? To continuously run obscene amounts without verifying my insurance coverage? All other medical offices do this!!!

The worst part? No matter how many times I beg for help in messages with their customer reps, I receive what seems like automated AI responses completely ignoring my previous message. All Lifestance has to do is rerun my insurance regarding those sessions - still nearly a month later and I am continually dealing with this problem which is drastically exacerbating my mental health. I do NOT have the means to pay this balance in medical costs nor do I think anyone should have to over a billing falsehood.

If I receive a corporate response to this review telling me to contact the same billing line, billing email, or patient portal that I have already been in contact with I am going to lose my mind.

Billing PLEASE call me directly. You have my name!!! Better yet PLEASE DO YOUR JOB and stop having patients have to do it for you while slapping them with bill after bill and harassing phone calls and messages!!

I’ve been with my therapist Laura for about a year. I absolutely appreciate her to the max. She is very kind, compassionate and dedicated. Ever since out first session I knew that she was the right fit for me. I was able to be open and honest and not feel judged at all. I appreciate the way she puts things into perspective for me.
