Understanding Energy

The Women’s Boxing Class truly helped me lose weight—which was not my main goal. One of the Coaches taught us that boxing is 80% Conditioning. As a busy single mum, I couldn’t add something outside of my kids’ events. They were already into kickboxing, wrestling and jiu jitsu. Here was an opportunity for me to workout while they did. And it was less intimidating than being in a class with professional fighters (though they too are always welcoming). Even at my level of boxing knowledge and skills, there is a place for me (and my whole family) at this world renowned gym. Thank you for creating this class and a place for us to come together to do something healthy together ?

Man where do I start... My daughter and I have been members for about 3 years. She started training in the kids program first. The dedication, love for JJ, and patience these coaches show on the daily basis have helped my once shy, insecure growing child. Into a blossoming young leader. I recommend JJ for every child especially young ladies. If I could give a higher rating for Coach Harold, Chris, Roberto, Josh, Jess, and Manolo and everyone their I would. This gym will welcome you like family,

This gym is awesome! My kids are part of the Jiu-jitsu program and they love it. Parking can get a little bit crazy but there's plenty street parking.

10th Planet San Diego is a great facility. It is clean and in excellent repair at all times, the front desk staff is helpful and friendly, the schedule is robust and offers a ton of variety (bjj, mma, kickboxing, Muay Thai, judo, self defense etc).

The coaches are absolutely top notch. My striking and mma skills have definitely elevated since I started attending Coach Manolo’s classes. He is a wealth of knowledge. All of the bjj coaches are so knowledgeable and experienced (Jacob, Roberto, Harold, Nora, Joe) and of course, it’s amazing learning from head coach Richie Martinez, who is always around and very approachable and humble.

I love it at 10th Planet San Diego.

Such an authentic gym, since the day i stepped in, I felt like family. Manolo with his great vibes always makes you laugh, great technique and mma classes! Richie is the coolest dude ever, along with Joe and Jacob, top notch jujitsu classes. Bill the owner did a great job building this gym!
